[2023] Question about ingame tournaments

Hey guys, I have a question about the ingame torunaments and the regarding Kudos/trophy/achievement for participating in one.

Are there any other options than the weekly tournaments which take place 3 times each sunday? I have tried to participate twice last sunday but could not because there where not enough other participants. Does it make a didference wether I join the torunament as soon as the 30 minutes periode prior the tournament starts or just a few moments before the starting time?
