Long time fan of Pokemon but have been kinda bored of it as of late, I've been reading reviews and watching videos and there are a couple things that concern me. 1. The bans, I've been seeing a lot of people talk about getting banned for no reason and the dev team ignoring them. I don't want myself or my friends to be out money for no reason and want to know if they have fixed or responded to this issue. 2. Multiplayer, I want to bring my fiancee and some others to play this game and want to know if the multiplayer features are fun and if we have to randomly stop playing together constantly or any glitches that are still going on 2. Economy, I keep hearing about how the dev keeps flipping the economy on it's head for little to no reason and how cosmetics and such are unreasonably priced for the currently available grinding options. As well as letting the economy get worse because of the existence of bots to try to make them less efficient. (Instead of fixing their anti cheat so more bots get banned, less real people get banned and manual review being added.) 3. Competitive pvp, I have always been a fan of Pokemon PvP but I've been hearing that the devs will often ransack middling tems for little reason making them unviable (I like using less popular options and it will annoy me very much if a tem I like that isn't busted or over used gets nerfed and we never find out why.) I am also tired of the unreasonable grind required to get viable creatures for PvP (I haven't heard good things here either and if they will randomly without reason trash one I've been working for without reason that isn't broken it will be even worse.) Just wondering if any of these issues have been addressed by the developer or any positive changes have been made to these issues, I'm still seeing plenty glowing reviews about many aspects of this game and was excited to get it. But I don't want to put time into something that may be going backwards.

So part of what I was seeing with the economy was due to the park they added (I think of it as a safari zone) where a previously very rare tem or shiny version of a tem (got the example of luma valash? And I get the argument of well other people want cool things too, but I like the value of a shiny mew or other legendaries that weren't given away as shinies) or high sv tems making your hard worked for stock of rare stuff go down the drain in price. Which sucks in an economy that can be artificially inflated, I understand inflation but when you can introduce a bunch of something at no cost (digital items) reducing the value of those on the market that would kinda suck. Not saying it can't be done in a good way but that's part of why I'm asking. The two examples I have so far for tems that got werid nerfs were taifu and the previously mentioned noxolotl which hey, glitches become mechanics that sometimes build games (weren't shinies originally unintended? And now other games use the same mechanic.) But I get it, I just like less used stuff and have never had to worry about my under used mons getting nerfed at least so I was worried (hopefully more buffs devs? Since gamefreak never balances old mons.) I like what I've heard in this thread so far and I think I might get it. Any word on that switch release I keep seeing shadows of though?

Switch is a fact, but it requires us to have the full game finished. So after launch, probably late 2021.
