[2023] What keeps you playing after the main story ?

Hi guys,

I'm approaching the end of the story and I fear that once I got all my perfect tems (bought them from the market) and reached lv100 there will be no progression left.

That's actually what makes me stop after the story in every Pokémon game I've played, and I thought Temtem would bring more endgame content and things to chase for months.

But the fact you can farm money by selling tems or by freeing high level tems made me able to buy 6 perfect tems before I even finish the story, so I'm worried, if I don't like pvp or lumas, what would be my next goals ?

By the way I'm seeing low numbers of active players, that's why I'm worried the answer is "there's not a lot to do after the main story, so we moved to other games".

Edit : Thanks for your answers, I'll try to find another game then, it's too bad they managed to do so much things better than Pokémon, to end up letting the game slowly die, but doing the main story was worth my money so it's fine. See you on other games !
