Hello, Tamers!

The build for patch 1.6 has already been sent out and approved, meaning it is ready to be published on the planned date, which is January 29th. Are you ready to know more about what’s included in this patch?

Season 6

Is it me or is it getting colder in here? Welcome to Temtem Season 6: Frozen Tales! This season will take you back in time when Temtem and Tamers roamed the cold areas of the Archipelago. Moreover, the season will come with new items in the Premium shop, a new Tamer Pass, and a new competitive season.

This one Season, however, will be the first one in Temtem to not have events, as we’re retiring them. We understand this might be a surprise to all, but since launch, we’ve been hearing your suggestions on how you would like events to be carried out and unfortunately, we’re unable to fulfill your expectations. This was a hard decision to make, but after much thought, it was the best decision the team could have made. Events are not easy to quickly fix, and as they are now, they’re causing more dissatisfaction than joy.

However, we haven’t forgotten about the Valentamers’ event that you didn’t get to enjoy last year. We will be giving all players the cosmetics, no work needed! You’ll be given a code to redeem in the patch notes and those items will forever be yours.

Improved emote wheel

A highly awaited change, you’ll now have up to 10 pages to fill with your favorite emotes, holos, and sprays. With 12 slots each, you can place up to 120 emotes in total. No more worrying about which emotes you should choose, you can pick them all!

We can’t wait to see how you organize your emote wheels, will you have a dedicated space just for your favorite dances? Or will you just dump all your emotes, holos, and sprays randomly?

Replays system

Yes, you’ve read it correctly! The Replays system will be in-game in patch 1.6. You will find these in the Competitive menu, shown as a clapperboard next to the Showdown section! In it, you can choose the matches you want to view, the already played ones where you competed against your rival or other player’s battles, and even pin your favorites. When watching a match, you’ll be able to fast-forward or pause it if you need it.

More information on how this system works will come out in the patch notes, so keep an eye on them!

Found location

Many can relate that with so many Temtem in our hands, sometimes it can be hard to remember where they were found and caught, but not anymore! We have added in the details screen of a Temtem the approximate location and the exact island where you got them. Even if you aren’t the OT, you can see the found location, handy isn’t it?

This can be helpful for those Tamers who can’t remember which level their Tems were when they were caught. You’ll be able to estimate your Temtem’s level by checking the level of the Tems in that area.

TemCard Swapping

A highly requested feature by the community that will allow our Tamers to change the TemCard in use to another TemCard of your liking. No Temtem is excluded from this new feature, if you would like your Anahir to be in a different TemCard just chat with Kalino in the Nanto Labs and the process will be done in seconds!

You’ll finally be able to change your favorite Tem to another TemCard, you only need to have the Temtem with you and the new TemCard of your choosing. However, remember this shift will have its Luma Drops price.

Temtem Types on PvP Battles

During the Pick&Ban phase and in the Battle log a Temtem’s type will be displayed next to its avatar. This will be very helpful on occasions where Tems have multiple types or when you play against an Umbra. This improvement has been made after the community was having a hard time distinguishing some Temtem types or evolutions.

Now it will be easier to check which type of Tem you are playing against, there will be no more misunderstandings with Umbra Tuwai evolutions or any Chromeon types.

And more!

If you know us, you know there’s more than what we have shown. Make sure you read the full post and patch notes once they’re live to check all improvements, fixes, and what has been balanced.  See you very soon in the frozen lands! Have fun, and Temtem up!
