[2020] Don't accept one sided trades from players, they may be trying to get you banned

tl;dr One of my accounts was banned for exploiting today, and a stranger that I gave away a free luma to was also banned. Their ban reason when they try to log in is simply "Cheating". Some members of a community I belong to find this funny and have talked about replicating it to get people banned. Don't accept one sided trades from other players, it may not be an act of kindness.

Slightly longer version:

I was pretty positive that one of my accounts was going to be banned as it's been an exploit testing mule for a couple weeks now and I went a bit hard abusing something. It had a single luma on it and I didn't care about keeping it, so I gave it away to a random player, told them it was a gift as I was quitting. I have no prior affiliation with that player, they were just the first person that accepted a trade with me.

They asked to add me on Discord so they could draw me something as a thank you, and we talked a little more. Fast forward to today, I woke up to some messages from them being very upset as they've been banned. The timing of their messages indicate that they were banned roughly an hour after me, also banned for cheating.

They can't get in touch with Crema to appeal either, apparently. I expected at worst they'd delete the luma, not immediately and permanently ban.
