Temtem

  • #036 – Nidrasil
    • Depress has been removed from its move pool.

Techniques

  • Soil Steam
    • STA cost increased from 21 ⇒ 25.
  • Toxic Ink
    • Damage reduced from 80 ⇒ 65.
    • Toxic Ink has always been an emblematic Technique for Toxic type teams. By reducing its damage we believe it’ll still be a powerful Tech due to the Poison ticks it applies, but this might open the door to new Techs and strategies being employed by Toxic teams.
  • Leech
    • Healing reduced from 30% ⇒ 25%.
    • Damage reduced from 30% ⇒ 25%.
  • Leech (Synergy)
    • STA cost increased from 17 ⇒ 20.
  • Perfect Jab
    • STA cost increased from 19 ⇒ 23.
    • Perfect Jab is going to continue being a very useful Technique against teams on the defensive side, but we’ve upped the STA cost to reduce its oppressiveness in these match-ups.
  • Humiliating Slap
    • Damage increased from 80 ⇒ 90.
    • DEF Stages decrease reduced from 2 ⇒ 1.
    • Like Perfect Jab, this Tech is very effective against defensive teams, as well as a working counterpart to defense buffs. Since it’s a Neutral Tech with a lot of distribution in the game, we’re focusing on lowering the impact in the buff department and equalizing its damage so it doesn’t fall out of the move pools of the Tems that currently employ it.
  • Sharpening
    • ATK Stages raise increased from 1 ⇒ 2.

Traits

  • Arcane Wrap
    • Damage reduction reduced from 30% ⇒ 20%.
  • Parrier
    • Damage reduction reduced from 30% ⇒ 20%.
  • Trance
    • SPATK Stages reduced from 3 ⇒ 2.
      SPDEF Stages reduced from
      3 ⇒ 2.
    • Regenerating turns reduced from 4 ⇒ 3.
  • Contagious
    • Poison turns reduced from 2 ⇒ 1.
  • Confined
    • DEF Stages raise increased from 1 ⇒ 2.
    • SPDEF Stages raise increased from 1 ⇒ 2.

Gears

  • Chamomile
    • 0.9.3 changes have been reverted.
    • Its current effect is: when entering the battlefield, the holder gets the Immunity condition for 2 turns, and all its Stage changes are removed.
    • After seeing the “success” of the Chamomile change, we’ve been made clear that its previous effect was the key point in many playstyles and counters, so we’re turning back on our decision, while still lowering the amount of Immunity turns, to in the end subtly adjust its power level.
