[2023] Cannot Connect to Server

Apologies if this isn't the proper place to seek guidance on solving the issue;

Bought the game last fall, enjoyed but shelved it for a time. With the release of the Showdown function, I reinstalled the game yesterday, and also downloaded Showdown.

Each of these are unable to load past the opening screen. A server connection error screen pops up "Server is Inaccessible at this time, please try again later." with Reconnect and Exit being the only buttons to choose.

Yesterday, I attempted probably four times across several hours, while checking twitter maintenance account for any known server issues; I also gave the benefit of the doubt, as the release of Showdown could prompt many others, like myself, to try things out.

My Co-Op partner has had no issues whatsoever, and I even reinstalled TemTem in the hopes that this solves the issue. Perhaps like some of you, Steam had an update, so perhaps this is not on Temtem/Crema, but rather on Steam/Valve; or it's on me, I have no clue!

If anyone has experienced something similar and found a method to overcome the dilemma, please inform me what I should tinker with to get back into this fascinating and refreshing game.
