I didn't know about this game until very recently, so I didn't back it, so I can't play yet.

So I have this doubt about the Temtem Techniques. I have seen they don't use PP, but stamina instead. I think it's a very good choice in comparison.

But looking at the techniques at https://temtem.gamepedia.com/Techniques, I can't help but to think they aren't using the full potential of the system. Apparently a skill is either an attack or a status.

I find it odd if there aren't mixed effects in attacks, like a low dmg attack that lowers the speed of an enemy, or a high stamina one that deal moderate damage and inflicts poison or something. Can anyone confirm if that's the case?

Anyway, which cool techniques designs can be done with the system in place? Anything interesting that hasn't been seen yet? Share your ideas!

There are techniques with mixed effects (damage + status). For example https://temtem.gamepedia.com/Narcoleptic_Hit

Status techniques are simple techniques that deals no damage.
