This is not something that we did. Maybe GoG got ahead of themselves assuming we would 1. Make T2 and 2. Release on GoG.

We never had Otherworld on GOG either... so it has to be something automated like a placeholder system.

Greetings Terrarians!

In case you missed it, 2022 is certainly turning into a lovely year for Terraria! From starting the year with a pair of awards to last month's reveal of the big "parity" update for Console & Mobile Terrarians to this month's surprise sneak peek into the upcoming - and aptly named - Labor of Love Update for Terraria, how can you not love all that is going on in the world of Terraria right now? Of course, we couldn't do any of this without the love...

Greetings Terrarians!

March already... well almost April really?! 2022 is flying by - but we are sure glad to see Spring starting to come into full bloom and with it, a lot of the plans we have been discussing in earlier States of the Game are close to coming to fruition! 1.4.3 for Consoles and Mobile (parity... at least for a time!) is right around the corner, Labor of Love draws ever-closer, and we have a lot of exciting things to come on the community and merch fronts as well. So much has already happened this year, but we are just getting warmed up.

Let's see what is in store shall we?

Switch Terrarians, it is here at last... welcome to Journey's End!

Initially released in May 2020 for PC, Journey's End brings Terraria to the next level, to a place where the core game can finally be called "complete". From new ways to play the game, to over 1000 new items to find and craft, to new bosses to challenge, and even a full-pass review of all content of the game for balance, graphic quality, and mechanics - truly, Journey's End has something for everyone...

Update: based on looking at backend crash data logs, nearly all current crashes (looking over the past 6 months or so) are related to the use of third party apps and/or shall we say “unofficial” versions of the game.

There isn’t a direct linkage to Samsung devices that can be found nor to A11/A12, which have less than half the already low crash rate we saw with A10. Additionally, crashes are lower thus far this year than previously - perhaps related to the pattern above.

Now, all that said, if anyone has additional information that they can share around crashing that they are personally seeing, I would be very glad to chase that down to locate and fix anything within the core game. Absent any additional info it’s sort of shooting blind here because all of the logs from third party/“unofficial” versions muck up any patterns.

We absolutely do not want some widespread crash bug out there hiding in the weeds - just might need more help to find it should it e...

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I’ll figure out what’s going on. In the meantime, hand over your copy of terraria and go to the jungle biome!
