Hi i want to know, how do i enable the dx 12 renderer??
Because everey time i activate it in die video tab and restart the game (like it says i should do), it is deactivated when i restart the game.
Is this a bug??

In order to investigate this further, could you post your DXDIAG? Instructions below.

  • Press your Windows key or go into Start.
  • Type run and hit enter. A new window should appear.
  • In the new window, type dxdiag and hit OK.
  • You should now see a new window called DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
  • At the bottom of this window, press Save All Information.
  • Open up the new file you created and copy all the information to http://pastebin.com/ into the New Paste window.
  • Once all the information is there, press Create New Paste and provide us with that link.

Hey folks! For those of you still experiencing these crashes with DirectX 12, please create a support ticket with your system files, then post your case numbers here. I've notified our teams that this is still an issue you all are experiencing, but I'd like to add these files to the report if possible as well.

I appreciate your detailed and thoughtful response, Kabal81! You're absolutely correct in saying that has been an on-going issue in The Division 2. My hopes are that with more system files on hand, our investigating teams will be able to pinpoint a pattern which will allow us to optimize the game further with DirectX 12. This is certainly the goal that I am hoping to assist with in any way that I'm able to.
