Hello, it's been a few months since multiple users reported that the PS5 version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla had random stutters/freezes.
It's not a problem of the consoles since this issue only happens on this game and appeared with the last few updates (started with the 1.2).

Here is a video of the issue viewed more than 1300 times and with multiple reports of people experiencing the same thing.

Im honestly waiting for this issue to be fixed before playing the game any longer since i find that really unsetting. And to add to this issue, your teams still didn't fix the small stutter whenever the game auto-saves...

I apologise for the delayed response. Thank you for taking the time to share your report with us, as well as including a video which demonstrates the stuttering in-game.

If you haven't already, please can you try these PS5 troubleshooting steps to see if this helps to alleviate the stuttering you're encountering in-game.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, can you please provide us with some more information:

  • You mention that this stutter happens when the game auto-saves. Can you let us know what other activities have caused this stutter to happen? For example, does it only happen when using the mount to travel, or when in combat?
  • How often does this issue occur during gameplay?
  • Can you let us know if you're using performance mode or resolution mode?
  • If you can send us any additional videos which show the stutter happening in-game, this would be helpful for further investigation.


We can then pass this report to the development team for a closer look.
