Hello.
I am like 10 hours or so in to the game, playing on ULTRA settings, everything worked great - no stutters whatsoever. Problems started when I left Norway. I played or more like I was able to play for 1 hour or 2 hours beacuse game was freezing randomly. While sailing or raiding or just freeroaming, every freeze would end up as a crash to desktop. I searched web to find answers and apparently this problem exists since 2020 so its nothing new, but the thing is there was no solution. My PC specs - Ryzen 5 3600, Gigabyte B550 DS3H (bios updated), RTX 2070 EVGA Black Edition XC (drivers updated), Windows 10 (updated), 16 GB 3200Mhz CL16 Dual Channel, 650W Gold+. Most of the time stable 60 fps on 1080p. Freeze is always random, it's not like action or fighting scenes. I changed settings, lowered gpu and cpu temps, checked files in ubisoft client but nothing worked. I just bought the game, lost 10 hours and its unplayable, literally. Cannot create ticket, since they are gone in "tech problems" section and live chat doesnt work all the time so there is no way to communicate with support at this point I am just done. I hope there is someone or maybe Ubi Staff that can help me.

Hey there @schmidty111, I am sorry to hear that you have been experiencing a similar issue to thefired. Could you please go through the guide kindly shared by my colleague? Those steps in the guide can help rule out many of the common causes for technical-related issues.

Once you have completed those steps, and if you continue to experience problems, can you please provide some additional information for me:

  1. Have you received any error messages? If so, what exactly does the error message/s state?
  2. What does the crash look like? (for example, do you receive a black screen crash? Does it freeze? etc..)
  3. What platform are you playing on?
  4. Whereabouts do you experience the crash, and is it reproducible every time?
