Recently returned to the game after a year or so and I've been getting the occasional PC crashes with the game and only this game. What happens is that the game freezes, a loud, continuous, droning/ buzzing sound comes from the speakers and then I get a blue screen with the code: Page fault in nonpaged area.

It usually seems to happen when I also have a video playing in the background (YouTube for example) while I play the game. Could it be a sound driver issue? Has anyone else had this issue. I've tried disabling File paging, but it made no difference.

It's strange that it only happens for this game.

Sorry for our delay in responding YNaoth!

Is the game still running fine after moving it onto another drive?

@Archworld
Do you currently have the game installed on the same drive as your OS, or is it on a different drive?

Thanks for keeping in touch about this, Ynaoth! I'm glad to hear you haven't been experiencing as many crashes lately.
