How we said before in a short future Origin version will be updated to the last game version. Any user from Origin versions is losing any content because that version contains all the to others have.

About the Map Editor the case is exactly the same than in GOG. Gog and Origin have not support for a Workshop and it's imposible to share the users custom maps among them. We can add the Map Editor to the Origin version but the user should have to find the way to share their projects.

The problem is that GoG has no Workshop so the users are not able to share the custom maps. But maybe the Dev Team can add the Map Editor and you should get a way to share your projects.

Usually is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\They Are Billions

But if you need to check the path of any game installation folder you can click right button of the mouse over the name of the game, Propierties, and then go to Local files. After clik on View Local file and you will bring to the installation folder.

Essentially I make the purchase upgrade for one of the 6 wonder buildings. Then a button appears on the main build screen, it looks like a pyramid. You click that and it should open up to another screen to purchased the wonder building.
