I've had this problem since the launch of Trackmania 2020 where there are no car shadows in any replay, the replay editor and therefore rendering.

I've tried all of them to no avail. It seems that only a very small subset of players have had this issue continuously. The last one is a cloesd thread from the official forums but that does not solve the issue for me.

My GPU is a RTX 2080 (Latest Drivers) and all Settings but reflections are maxed out ingame.

Hey @TelefonSquid, appreciate your response as well as very detailed input on the matter, as all of the information you've provided will be very useful going forward.

After doing some digging around, it does look like this issue occurred to very few players however it does not appear that it has been brought up to our team's attention just yet.

So that we could look into the matter further, I would like to ask you to provide us with your system files (MsInfo and DxDiag), which will be extremely useful for reproduction purposes (as far as configuration goes), therefore so that we could proceed , I have created a ticket under your account. In order to access it, follow the steps below:

  1. Click the following link to access your cases list (make sure to login to your account beforehand)
  2. Once there, you will find ticket that was recently created. Open it
  3. Once opened, you will see 'Attach' option. Click on it and when ready, upload your system files

 
Once that's done, one of our agents will take a closer look at it and get back to you as soon as possible!

I can now confirm that details of the issue has been forwarded to our development team who will review the matter further.

Hi @TelefonSquid the development team were unable to reproduce this issue and have asked if you still encounter this issue? If so could you please answer the following:

  • Can you send us a replay from your side where the issue occurs?
  • Can you send a picture with the settings from in-game alongside with one with the settings from Nvidia Control Panel
  • Does this issue occur on a specific weather condition or specific track?
