Hi,

I have the same problem since I installed the game.
From the start of the game, I get pink/red screen on TM loading screen, epilepsy warning and finally home screen. Also, I can only see left half of the screen at all times.
Funny thing is, when I do a print screen or snip with snipping tool, it looks normal and it has full screen visible (not only half screen like I see it on the monitor). So, I recorded video with my mobile phone (sorry for the bad quality) just to be able to explain how it looks for me:
https://youtu.be/YvQziTkBQXk

I noticed that it looks normal when I switch to integrated graphics, so I figured that something is wrong with my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphic card, drivers or settings.
However, the game is not really playable on the integrated graphics due to low FPS.

What I tried to do to resolve the issue:
- did a clean install of the GTX 1050 Ti latest driver
- did a clean install of TM
- tried different screen resolutions and screen options (full-screen, windowed, windowed border-less)
- tried optimizing game settings with GeForce Experience software
- tried original TM settings

Whatever I tried didn't help at all (sometimes I just get white screen when I launch the game). Other games work fine on my GTX 1050 Ti (SW Battlefront 2, TM United Nations, etc.)

Not sure if needed, but here is the rest of my configuration:
Intel i7-7700HQ
8GB RAM
Windows 10 Education 64-bit
Integrated graphics: Intel HD Graphics 630

Any suggestions or ideas are welcome. I really don't know what to try next.

Thank you in advance.

Hey! Thanks for getting in touch with us, I hope you are well

You have done an incredible job at narrowing this issue down!

When a graphical issue is not present in a screenshot, that tells us that the game itself is running fine and there is an issue with the graphics card pushing those visuals to the monitor. That's not to say the graphics card is damaged, but rather that's where we need to focus our troubleshooting. Knowing this does not happen with your Intel graphics is also useful.

I would like to review your system files, here is how we can do that -

1. Log in to the Ubisoft Support website: https://support.ubisoft.com/
2. Open the support case I created for you: https://support.ubisoft.com/Cases/12419327/
3. Add the following files -

- A MsInfo report: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/21216/
- A DxDiag report: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/21185/

4. Notify us on the forums, once done

We can then review the files and see what we can learn

All the best!

I just attached the requested files to the case you opened.
Hope it will help.
Thanks for returning to me so quickly there may be some delays in my getting back to you, but I'll return as soon as I can!

Nvidia latest hotfix has not yet been installed, please install it to see if that helps: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answ...5046/kw/hotfix

This has noticeably fixed a lot of crashing issues, and it may help with your graphical issue.

- Try changing your Windows power saving settings to High Performance, to see if that helps
- Disable background apps and try again: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/000025721/

It's possible you have other software conflicting with the game or your graphics card, so disabling background apps is a very important step!

I hope that helps!

Thanks for returning to me again, very unusual indeed.

Although this issue does seem to be at a graphics card level, I would also like to suggest the following to see if you see any different behaviour -

- Ask a friend / family member to log in on your laptop, and see if the issue occurs on their account
- Try logging in to a different / new Windows user, and see if the issue happens

If these steps don't work, our technical team can investigate further for you. I will update your case's notes so our team know what has been tried so far.

Although you have only noticed this issue, this behaviour indicates it could be an issue with the graphics card or perhaps the drivers. We will of course do everything we can to help!

Hello hamdocar3,

I was just looking over your case and wondered if Support were able to help you with your visual bug issue. I can see they suggested doing a clean reinstall of the drivers and installing what was the latest hotfix at the time for Nvidia.

If you were able to resolve this issue please let us know, just in case any other players experience the same, thanks again!
