Created a base outside of the stadium using openplanet, was building a map and testing the route regularly with no issues at all. The issue started when I went to test the track, exited back to the editor and they by accident re-entered test mode within half a second. As my mouse was off screen at the time, the car was in the middle of nowhere at the edge of the base, with shadows around the car.
Instead of loading the car and allow me to drive, the game just crashed. Now, whenever I try to open map editor (either through openplanet or the game itself) the game doesn't progress past the loading screen, goes unresponsive after 30 seconds and then gradually increases CPU/memory usage, crashing my pc after around 1 minute.
Tried reinstalling the client/the game, uninstalling openplanet and verifying all files, nothing seems to be fixing this problem.
Don't have any video/photo evidence as I didn't think it would be a big issue at the time.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear that this is happening.

I understand you don't have a video or photo from at the time but would it be possible to share a video of what is happening now with us as it will help us investigate?

Many thanks

Hello OmBra.Berzerk, thanks for getting back to us and sorry to see this has happened to you.

I would recommend uninstalling the game again and this time deleting your Ubisoft Connect cache as well as any temporary installation files, before reinstalling. I am also wondering if there are any game files in your AppData that may be causing this issue too.

First, uninstall the game, next, delete any temporary files you have stored -

-Press Windows key and S, then type disk cleanup, and select it
-Select the drive you want to clean up, and then select OK.
-Under Files to delete, select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.
-Select OK.

Next, locate this folder > C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft Game Launcher \ cache \ ownership

Back up the ownership file somewhere safe, then delete the cache file.

Next try installing the game and see if you are able to run it without getting the white screen crash?
