Hi Nadeo,
When mapping, I wanted to calculate shadows to see how my map would look like. I received the following error:
Shadow computation disabled (mapping (BlockId doublons ?))
Afterwards, I was not smart to save the map, because when I tried to close the map and reopen it again, the game takes a while to load the map and then crashes (CTD).
When restarting the game, the game still crashes, even after I cleared my cache folder (in C:\ProgramData\TrackMania\Cache)
Here is a video clip of it happening: https://clips.twitch.tv/ShyFlirtyMochaMoreCowbell
The associated log crash if useful: https://pastebin.com/FfzPAasV
The map file: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...nnamed.Map.Gbx
Luckly it was only a test map, so I did lose anything valuable.
Best regards,
eFFecT
Edit 1:
After this happened, I am not able to open ANY map, including trying to create a new map in the map editor.
Even when I delete the map, clear cache, disable openplanet, nothing helps, the map editor still causes a crash to desktop when I try to open it.
Trying to use the simple editor (controller version) also crashes the game.
Other tools like mediatracker still seem to work.
I am able to fix it for myself by renaming my trackmania 2020 folders, it might be caused by one of the items.
Edit 2
I think the crashes are caused by a second bug.
When I have this particular block in my Blocks folder, the game crashes, otherwise not. This was created by the mesh modeler.

I found a way to reproduce this crash, when making a custom block of the grass hill straight (the one from the url) and making a mesh for every variant, just click + for each variant, opens the mesh modeler, close it, and save the block. If you then open the map editor, game keeps crashing unless you delete the block file manually.
Edit 3
After removing the corrupt block, I am able to reopen the map I thought was corrupted. So in the end 2 bugs, this block I attached is something wrong with. And also the shadow calculation does not want to always work, not related to the crash though!
