Hi, since about April 2th or 3th I'm experiencing some serious microphone issues when playing Trackmania.
I noticed it first when I was starting one day to get some sound "cuts" or drops for maybe 0.5s randomly while I was driving ingame, cutting every sound and not only Trackmania. Then things quickly got worse when playing a map randomly caused my microphone to get kinda disabled on Discord (mates not hearing me anymore, kinda not detected but just needed 3 clicks in Discord settings to get it working again, but this needed each time).
Almost every time I started to play on a map, sound would happen to cut for ~0.5s in the 2 first minutes and at the same time "disable" my microphone on Discord as explained before.
Third thing, sometimes when playing a map my microphone would quickly make some horrible sounds to my mates on DIscord, me not hearing them though.
Notice it all happens when playing on a map, never when menu-ing or any else in TM.
I don't have many ideas of what could cause this, never seen anyone else experiencing anything similar, so I tried few things, but not working:
- I tried to check if TM was detected as using my microphone on my PC but it's actually not the case
- Tried to remove Openplanet, not changing anything
- Closed Discord and everything else than TM, played a map and still got those issues (sound cutting, also recorded my mic on streamlabs, audacity behind while playing and I could hear the issue)
- Tried to totally unplug my pad and then play a map with my kb, still got the issue
- Untick the "Allow apps to take the exclusive control of the microphone"
- Change peripheral in ingame sound settings in TM
- Maybe some other random things not working either
