Hello everyone,

We're coming back with a new update that doesn't look like much, but a lot has changed in the background. We changed more than 1400 files of our code in order to prepare to the next big updates.
If you see any issue, please report it as soon as possible in the forums.

GENERAL

+ Displayed the full date for the end of your Standard or Club access
+ Fixed an issue with the start of multi-lap maps when the map has another starting point
+ Fixed a rare script crash in the solo

MATCHMAKING

+ Fixed squad view in matchmaking for display with a ratio superior of 16/9
+ Fixed a script crash for Master 3 ranks

KNOWN ISSUES

+ Camera 3 is not working correctly
+ Double-tapping a camera change makes the camera look behind the car
+ Car physics changed and some press forward might be broken, sorry for the inconvenience

Hey everyone,

We are back today with a new update in order to apply multiple fixes.
We are also still working hard on getting the squadding up and ready as soon as possible allowing you and your friends to play matchmaking together!

Here is the changelog:

+ Changed the menu of the campaign: you can now select a medal to compete against. You can also play alone or play against players from the world.
+ Fixed issues with the event pages.
+ Fixed an issue with the upload of maps on map review servers.
+ Fixed flags of England and Mississippi
+ Added 85 new regions of Russia
+ Fixed an issue where a player could crash after a map change
+ Fixed multiple issues in the map editor

Hey everyone,

We're back today with a small update to make some important fixes:


+ Fixed the announcement of the Cup of the Day
+ Displayed public map reviews in the map review page under Create
+ Fixed an issue with the loading of monthly campaigns
+ Fixed memory leak during network play
+ Chat visibility toggle is now 2 states by default (unfolded/folded), and there is a setting to enable 3 states toggle (hidden/unfolded/folded)
+ Fixed issues when other players disconnect (like interrupted media clips)

Regarding what's coming next, we are currently working hard on the squadding option that will be implemented for the matchmaking allowing any player to invite and play with up to 2 friends at any time.

We are currently working a lot on the new matchmaking feature which will allow you to compete in a 3v3 team mode against other players in the world, alongside that we're releasing the first update of the year with the following changelog:


+ Added the first version of map review activity to the club
+ Improved UI of the local server list page
+ Fixed an issue with triggers in the Mesh Modeler
+ Fixed a color issue in the lightmap calculation on custom materials
+ Fixed helpers shadows issue

Hello everyone,

After 38 editions of the Cup of the day and 24 different winners, we hope that you all enjoyed playing this new feature!
It's truly a pleasure to see so much commitment from the players every day at 7 PM. We are now confident enough to move the Cup of the Day out of its BETA state in order to focus on the matchmaking. If you find any bug, do not hesitate to post it in the official forums.
Alongside that change, we're also pushing an update with the following changes:

+ Fixed "server not found" in Cup of The Day
+ Added final rank of the cup in the Cup of The Day
+ Displayed in the main menu when the Cup of The Day is about to start and is ongoing
+ Improved general joining flow in Cup of The Day
+ Activated record saving in Knock Out phase of Cup of The Day
+ Fixed differential times in Cup of The Day (missing zeros)
+ Fixed time gap display in round-based modes (for Cup of The Day too)
+ Added possibility to click on players in the live ranking to spectate them in Cup of The Day


+ Added score table, time gap, laps counter, and many others to be customizable UI via xmlrpc
+ Improved the display of the rank when passing through a checkpoint
+ Added name of the local server in the loading screen when joining one

Hello everyone,

After announcing the new competition tools this week, Cup of the day was also something we were working on for quite some time and we're glad to announce to you that the first one will happen on the 2nd of November!

From that date and every day at 7 PM CET, you will be able to play and compete against other players from around the world on the new Track of the day during a Time Attack session that will then be followed by a Knock-out mode. Trophies will be awarded during each Cup of the day to every player based on their position. The cup of the day will be in a beta phase for the upcoming weeks until we are satisfied with it.

The cup of the day known issues:

+ The time gap UI at CPs show the times of already knocked-out players
+ UI issue of TA live ranking when gaining a new rank
+ Unable to see to info popup when playing TA phase
+ Unable to hide/show live TA ranking

We hope that you enjoyed the first edition of "A08 Forever" which happened yesterday! If you've missed it, we'll see you next month on the 8th of November at 8PM on a new A08 remake.

We're also pushing an update today with the following changes:

+ Fixed the home button in main pages
+ Automatically fetch the club images on players' dedicated servers. The following images in the settings will be used in priority:
- S_DecoImageUrl_Checkpoint
- S_DecoImageUrl_DecalSponsor4x1
- S_DecoImageUrl_Screen16x9
- S_DecoImageUrl_Screen8x1
- S_DecoImageUrl_Screen16x1
You can set the setting S_DecoImageUrl_WhoAmIUrl to the empty string "" if you don't want to use the club images at all.
+ Added map editor quick start feature in the settings. It allows launching directly the map editor when creating a new map with your preferences.

We hope that everyone had a great summer break and a lot of fun on the tracks
We are back with a new update including new features and various bug fixes:

Before everything, an update on the trophies. We will now open the best ranks (World/Gold) and also award the Track of the day trophies retroactively in the upcoming days now that the rankings are cleaned.

New update coming up today!

Here is the changelog:

+ Feature: From now on, your best CP time will synchronize with your ghost, respawning at a checkpoint will now display your best CP ghost.
+ We've updated the UI in the creation of news, skin, and map uploads club activities.
+ Applied a fix that solves passwords in local servers.
+ Added Points Repartition in room settings for round-based modes.
+ Fixed an issue where hiding the HUD and trying to exit the menu would not allow the player to open the HUD again
+ We've also fixed the trophies in multiplayer alongside opening the National ranks (Silver). All the players now receive a trophy at the end of a Time Attack.

It's still a pleasure to see all of you enjoying and sharing your experiences on Trackmania!
We are pushing an update today in order to fix urgent issues and make some improvements, so here are the changes:

+ We implemented a fix that should remove the server crashes on Map Reviews.
+ We've fixed an issue where under certain conditions the spectator mode was locked in "free" or "follow all" mode.
+ We've added the checkpoint activation sound even if the UI is hidden.
+ We now display the checkpoint UI and special blocks messages when testing a map in the editor.
+ The "Look behind" camera is now available.
+ You should no longer see the character shadows while using the old Camera 3.
+ Skin browser should no longer crash while clicking on the folder button.

Hello Trackmania drivers,

On the 8th of July, we had more players than Trackmania² Stadium ever registered and five times more than Turbo on the same date. And also, more players than Nations Forever first week. So we would like, once again, from all Ubisoft Nadeo's team thank everyone for everything you are doing on Trackmania!

We're pushing an update today to again fix more urgent matters, so here are the changes you will be able to notice:

+ "Events" is now available in the LIVE menu. You will be able to register to the Zerator Trackmania Cup from here starting July 15, 8 AM CEST.
+ Small fixes and improvements in the menu.
+ Various fixes and improvements in the simple map editor.
+ We've applied some fixes that should improve the quality of the spectating mode in terms of net code.
+ Memory leak issue should now be fixed.
+ Multiple other net code improvements.
