There is a flaw where if you infuse the octavia resonator into another warframe, and in that other warframe in which the ability was infused there is an active ability and immediately after you use the resonator the weapons simply do not fire anymore and you also cannot hit with melee weapons , you can only defend yourself with them and continue using other skills.

Heart of Deimos: Interim Update 29.2.1

This update includes everything from PC Hotfix 29.0.7 to 29.2.1. 

We have remastered our textures and lightmaps game wide! 

Warframe will go from ~64 GB to ~31.2 GB after it has completed the automatic re-download of the game in its entirety. This will appear no different from any other update, business as usual! It will download in the background as is expected with all updates. This is part of the first steps we are taking towards the “ensmallening” on consoles that we’ve seen over on PC - more details in the official dev workshop ...

“Heart of Deimos: Interim Update 29.2.1” has passed Cert and will be going LIVE tomorrow, Wednesday, October 14th @ ~11 AM ET!

You will be greeted by Red Text in chat to start the countdown to launch. Reminder again that this a remaster update and once it launches Warframe in its entirety will begin to re-download automatically. After it has completed, Warframe will go from 64 GB to 31.2 GB total. More information on that and everything else coming in tomorrow’s update below.

Optimizations:

• Optimized initial install size slightly (~half a GB).

  • This was Hotdropped yesterday!

 

Changes:

• Added a game setting to use the legacy deadzone remapping when controlling look/aim input using the controller analog sticks.

• Changed the deadzone settings to go up and down by 1 instead of 5 when pressing the arrows.

Last week we included a ‘Missed Change Note’ that the ‘Deferred Rendering’ Display Option was renamed to ‘Graphics Engine’. While this is true at a base level, it’s actually more exciting than that, as it involves moving into “Next Gen’ by phasing out our old rendering engine!
