Aesgir killed Frostfang on his way to battle Jormag, the latter battle we see via the vision took place at Aesgir's Legacy.

Ding ding ding!

Ooo. Great question. I'm honestly not sure. I think it's more of a gut feeling. So maybe a couple here and there to experiment and then there is a handful of mixing that goes on the computer side. I'll ask them though because I can only guess.

Just like you (from what I can tell) I'm very grateful for all the people behind Guild Wars 2 to have designed, developed and maintained such an incredible game. They gave me the opportunity to experience an extremely well fleshed, immersive and enjoyable MMO. A lot of other games of the same genre felt tasteless or outright annoying to play after I dived into GW2. So yeah, even if it had to end tomorrow I'm grateful for their work and I'll keep a lot of fond memories of it.

Nothing lasts forever. The beauty comes from enjoying it while we can.

You're awesome! Thank you :)

This sound team is bananas. Also side note: They don't just record amazing audio in the most oddball ways. They script and code that stuff in as well. They're amazing!

Well now I need to go bug Rubi! Excuse me! :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us, at Anet, a shout out! It is often tough to ride the line between giving enough information and holding back on information that we can't share. So I really appreciate the community's understanding and patience. Posts like this are the equivalent to how ya'll feel when you get a professional response from a dev. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you and to everyone else for such kind words!

I am going to start getting busy here in a bit so as you all start to transition over to Episode 2 I'll be a bit heads down. I still plan on peaking in and conversing with you all! Don't be afraid to @ me either!

I'm excited for 2020! Let's gooooo!

For reference: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Ruler_of_the_Skies#achievement9991

OK! Here we go! This was a larger fix then I thought but the team rocked it out! The achievement(s) will be coming out with Episode 2. A couple things to note: The title is still the only reward outside of the AP points. There were a couple of added rifts in case anyone was keeping count.

The ones in Bjora Marches were not added simply because
1. They are a bit different in that they give you karma.
2. They are encapsulated within the Icebrood Saga and that isn't finished :)

So. Thank you SO MUCH for bringing this to our attention and I hope you enjoy exploring around Tyria for all the rifts and that sweet title!

They made another amazing mechanic, yet it doesnt do anything. It doesnt punish you at all, and people dont even care about clearing stacks anymore because there is no way you are going to get killed since you are able to self-break it.

We experimented with harsher conditions but the fact became that it was just too annoying while trying to do a collection or event or story bit. There is absolutely room for a stronger version to exist in the future. With that said, if you are flying on a Dragonscale or griffon and get turned to ice, you fall hard haha. So that is something that is a bit more punishing.

2/3 of the tech is already here (mentor, volunteer) so I think it is doable.

EDIT: Well, I still think it is doable. But maybe /u/Anet-Clayton or /u/Anet_Myranda could tell more (even if it's "no") or at least pass the suggestion(s) forward?

Everything is doable :) But the amount of resources and time would be an unknown. I think it's a cool idea but it sounds like a lift tbh. I don't believe maps are currently set up to have togglable conditions set. I.E. this map is only allowed to populate people with this flag set.

This would also require a UI design and QA so it wouldn't just be engineer and server work. I'll gladly pass the idea along! I think, however, it would be some work to figure out. That work would have to be prioritized and weighed against other high demand things.

Sure, but the same is true once you get that unique armour skin.

Truthfully, it's not. Everything in the strike mission can be obtained without and it's really not that hard to get it out of the strike. I'm 3 weapons away from having completed every single reward from this patch and it's not like I played it every day nor dedicated that much time to it as I've mostly been doing wvw or pve raids instead.

There should be a unique reward per strike :)

Feedback noted! :)
