When I play WvW, I normally don't tag up, since it usually results in my immediate death (there's an achievement for killing devs). There is a WvW stream every Thursday though where the WvW team and a guest all select a server and go play WvW there.

I would love a list of these "buffs"

There are far too many to list, but every trait (both major and minor) that a player has equipped is a buff as are many masteries. And there are many content specific buffs that designers use to track things for things like bosses and events.

Any special reason why there is a buff called water wheel when you are on it?

I'm not sure, but I would guess that the script that applies the wind is on that buff, and we forgot to hide it. There are usually 30+ buffs that you can't see on your character at any given time.

Does this apply to the boats moving around too or are those different? I might be wrong but it seems the Labyrinthine Cliffs boat is similar to the Mordremoth Spiral in that it does things to the camera while you're standing on it while the water wheels do not seem to do that.

I'm pretty sure that both the boats and the Mordremoth Spiral use moving platforms. Same with with airships.

I did give details in one of them - though I confess, they were tainted with my frustration. But I did, so hopefully the tool and the comments help. I don't think it's related to lag, though, tbh. It's too consistent on just this event.

And thanks for taking notice.

Thank you, our weekly crash deputy should see it and assign it to someone who can figure out what's going on and fix it.

For crashes, please tell us what you were doing in the text field and click "Send report to ArenaNet". We have a tool that lets us see the information from crashes (including call stacks, player notes, where players were, etc.) that have been reported and groups multiple occurrences of the same crash together, and seeing what is actually happening there can be extremely useful.
