Heyyyy, they changed revenant legend IDs again! This time to a more sensible 1, 2, 3, .... Hopefully they are here to stay now.
yeah, this change was to protect them from changing again in the future, so it should be the last time

The one outside LA .. its eyes "reflect"
It sees all. It knows all.
Bad things happen when you mix combat and chairs
Are the extra unlocks per-character or per-account?
The Build and Equipment tabs are per-character. The Build Storage slots are per-account
I seemed to me that you get a base tab, plus two extra tabs? the screenshot kind of shows this too, would love confirmation from u/Anet-PaulS
It is two base tabs with more unlockable. The screenshot was taken on a character who had already unlocked an extra one, which was probably a mistake.
Sorry for tagging you /u/Anet-PaulS but could you clarify this please:
Build Storage can hold templates of any profession and can be accessed by any character on your account. You can copy, rename, clear, or inspect them the same way you would a Build Template tab, and copy and paste a template to and from tabs and storage (provided your character is the appropriate profession to apply the template to a tab).
Does this mean Storage is there just to hold templates and that is it? How I'm reading it, it sounds that if I want to use specific build from Storage I have to copy it firs to character template or can I immediately equip it from Storage?
Yes, the main purpose of build storage is so that, if a player sees a necromancer build in chat that they want to try out, while they are playing their guardian, they can store it for later, and to allow them to share their own builds for other classes while on their guardian.
Will ANet templates include ranger pets? Arc doesn't and it's one of the missing features. Let's see if ANet does any better.
Yes, ranger pets and revenant legends are included
Can multiple characters use the same equipment template? (I’m guessing not but a man can dream)
Unfortunately, we weren't able to get a good solution for sharing equipment templates between characters, because we didn't want players to accidentally break equipment templates on one character by removing a piece of equipment on another.
Items you add to Equipment Templates will no longer take up space in your character’s inventor
And the build templates* are shareable via chat links as well? This is definitely exceeding my expectations! Nice.
While build templates can be linked, equipment templates cannot, since they rely on actual items.
Ah, but do you know what kind of animal the seashell came from?

I would actually disagree with this. Verdant Brink is not the map where you want to try out your raptor. You'll end up falling into the abyss on the mount and not able to glide to get back up.
This looks like some extreme screen tearing to me. If your drivers are up to date make sure Vertical Sync is turned on in the options menu
I wonder if they still have that costume lying around somewhere.
I've heard people say that we still have the mask somewhere, but I haven't seen it.
centaurs got six of them
Are centaurs technically insects?
No exoskeleton or segmented bodies.
Heck, I usually don't bother you guys when I see you with the tag up. Don't want to intrude on your own playtime.
Am I just tricking myself out of chatting with you all?
I'm only speaking for myself, but if I'm tagged up, I'm open to talking to people and/or find it amusing to run around as a cat with the ArenaNet tag
I rarely see any devs around anymore. Lucky you!
We definitely play, but we don't always have our tags up. I know that I personally take it down when I don't feel like interacting with anyone and just want to relax. We also tend to get grouped into the same map instance by the megaserver system, because it is a guild.
My exp bar is maxed, so I feel like I'm wasting playtime too.
You don't have to worry about this. XP you get when you have all available mastery XP tracks maxed goes to a hidden XP bar which will give you spirit shards once you've unlocked all the masteries. This is not well explained, and I actually just found out about it myself yesterday.
Start and restart playing the game with a fair number of different classes, and then stick with the one that feels just right for you. Class preference is a very personal preference and they all play a bit different, so we cannot really give a ultimate answer here, E.g., I myself wanted to play thief at launch but I was just not compatible with that play style. But I will enjoy playing engineer forever.
DPS and defense are primarily a feature of your build/role, and not necessarily a feature of your class. So I wouldn't mind too much about that when choosing.
I completely agree with this, and would add trying out different weapons too. I bought the game at launch (several years before I started working here), and started out on a Sylvari necromancer. I almost quit the game because I didn't like how it felt. But I tried a Charr Engineer and loved it. When my wife picked up the game a couple of months later, she rolled a Sylvari, so I played my necro to play with her, and when I found the staff my opinion of the class completely changed.
I remember splurging karma to get that mini so fast and it's never left my side. There's nothing like looking behind you and seeing a tiny chicken running unscathed through hordes of enemies xD
Moana makes so much more sense to me now. Alan Tudyk was her mini!
How the hell does THAT not make it into the patch notes!?!?
This wasn't supposed to go out until the next release. It would have definitely been in those patch notes.
