Any word on more Community Contests? I have basically worked out the concept behind one and finally decided on sensible categories but so far I haven’t received feedback on that from “someone”.

Contests run by the community you all can do free rein, but contact us if you’d like some promotional support! Whether it be art/lore contests, tourneys, learning events, or similar, we want to help support you! For official ones, I believe we would like to engage with you all more, but are still developing what that looks like + frequency cadence.

Well that was fast! Congrats on the achievement!

It’s not installing Edge, but an edge runtime component. It’s not spyware but a tiny component that helps the launcher render/function appropriately. Without it, you’ll see a simplified version of the launcher without the content.

Unfortunately/fortunately (depending on how you look at it!), it’s true. It is on the radar and I was just in a meeting where it was brought up. It’s just a matter of balancing current things and then carving out the time for a balance into our workflow. I’ve been in this community for a while as a player, so I understand the need for a rebalance as much as you do; but if we rebalance, we want to make sure we do it right, with the correct resource allocation.

We’re aware, we’re hearing you, and it’s legitimately in the bucket list; we just need to make sure it’s handled appropriately. I know that’s not the answer you want to hear, but it’s the only one I can reasonably give you right now. As always, I aim to be communicative within the bounds of my power, so I will of course, update the community when/if we get closer to that time.

Hey, so we handpick these. I chose the Waystalker guide because I agreed with most of it (minus the Natural Bond bit–and even then it’s not terrible on her, if it’s the one I’m thinking of). Is it a hardcore in-depth guide? Nope! is it reasonable for a beginner? I think so.

Right now, we’re trying to give creators their due and help drive traffic to them as a “thank you” to them and putting out their content. However, a lot of content is outdated, and/or isn’t targeted to the super hardcore players, so sometimes finding the sweet spot of topics and accuracy can be difficult.

We’re working on stuff to putting out our own content at a later date; but for now, I pick them and try to give some variety and go through on what I agree with (and there is some variance among the community on what is and is not correct gameplay).
