Breach Neltharion’s secret laboratory hidden within Zaralek Cavern. It is here that he created the dracthyr and ultimately succumbed to the whispers of the Old Gods and their corruption. Twist is a Hearthstone ladder Mode with regularly rotating seasons, each with a twist on the rules! Twist formats can include curated card pools and special rulesets. These formats are sure to bring back some of your favorites, but in a new setting with a new meta to crack!

We already have some fun and nostalgic Twist formats planned for the rest of the year, but we also want to hear from you about Twist formats you’d like to see, or if you end up loving one so much you want to see us bring it back. Even as the call for heroes in Sanctuary continues, back in Azeroth, all roads lead to the Dragon Isles—and to exciting adventures. To help you prepare for the trials ahead, you will get the benefit of the Winds of Sanctuary buff*, which will increase experience gains by 50% for all players through level 70, and reputation gains by 50% for all factions except the Loam Niffen (who are not quite sure what to make of these strange winds). It’s a great time to finish leveling a character, create a new one, or invite friends to join you in your adventures.

The Winds of Sanctuary buff will be available from June 15, 10:00 a.m. PDT through July 11, 2023 11:59 p.m. PDT for North American realms and from June 16, 3:00 a.m. AEST through July 12, 2023 4:59 p.m. AEST for Oceanic realms.

*Experience buff not available in World of Warcraft®: Wrath of the Lich King™ Classic or World of Warcraft® Classic Era.

Dev Comment: The meta is in a pretty healthy place right now and a lot of players seem to be enjoying the post mini-set meta, so we’re not trying to be too disruptive with this round of changes. We’re making some smaller adjustments to tone down a few emerging meta outliers and to give a little more power to some of the mini-set cards that have not gotten much attention.

When the world was young, all life shook before the might of Galakrond, a massive primal dragon whose hunger could not be sated. Five primal dragons rose valiantly beside the titan-forged Keeper Tyr to combat this threat. Though the fight was desperate, Galakrond fell by their teeth and talons, and they were chosen to become protectors of Azeroth. The titans gifted Nozdormu, Ysera, Alexstrasza, Malygos, and Neltharion with order magic, transforming them into the Aspects, powerful dragons with command of time, nature, life, magic, even the earth itself. Other primal dragons followed them on their path, and, imbued with the titans’ power, the dragonflights rose to shape the world and serve the Aspects.

 Players will be able to venture into six of Mists of Pandaria’s storied dungeons to reap new rewards all week during this Bonus Event. Simply open the Group Finder (default hotkey: “I”) and then select Dungeon Finder and Timewalking in the “Type” dropdown menu. Selecting “Find Group” will match you with other players and send you to one of the following Heroic Dungeons.

Your character and items will be scaled down to a power level fitting for the challenge at hand, but bosses will yield loot appropriate for your natural level.
