The Arena World Championship (AWC) returns for Shadowlands Season 2 Circuit on July 31, only on YouTube!

Following a hard-fought Shadowlands: Season 1, the top 16 teams across North America and Europe are gearing up for the Season 2 Circuit and their share of the $160,000 (USD) global prize pool. They’ll compete in a four-week round-robin, beginning on July 31, with the top four teams in each region advancing to the Shadowlands 2021 Grand Finals for a shot at standing as the best PvP teams in all of Shadowlands and the $300,000 (USD) prize pool!

Dev Comment: We've decided to ban Stealer of Souls in Wild, where it caused many games to stray too far away from the type of gameplay we’re aiming for. After deliberating on the appropriate action, we’ve decided to ban the card in order to maintain its current, and healthier, function in standard—as well as eliminate the problems caused in Wild. We do not have plans to ban many cards in the future. Bans will be reserved for cards creating extreme gameplay issues where there is no great solution for all formats. Since this is the first decision of its kind in Hearthstone, we'd love to hear your feedback. Take your Mythic+ skills to the next level. Chains of Domination introduces a way for players to clearly gauge their success and preparation to take on the challenges found in Mythic+ dungeons.

Keying Up to Bigger Challenges

With the content update players can take charge of their own progress and see how well they’re performing in Mythic+ dungeons by viewing their personal Mythic+ rating within the Group Finder(I) UI under the Mythic+ Dungeons tab.

Hovering your mouse pointer over the center Dungeon rating will bring up a tooltip that explains more about your rating and how you can improve it.

A HIDDEN WONDER

As part of his ongoing schemes, the Jailer has located a long-lost domain of the Shadowlands—Korthia, the City of Secrets—and dragged it from the hidden byways of the In-Between into the Maw. In this new area, you’ll team up with the covenants under a unified banner to fight against the endless forces of the Jailer, and work to uncover what obscurities he seeks in this forgotten realm.

The prophecies of Korthia foretold of the day when one who walked the Maw would save the Shadowlands from disaster. Perhaps this is that day.
