To provide more transparency on the actions that get taken against exploitative accounts, here is a breakdown on the number of actions that have been taken over the course of the last month:

All of these actions are for cheating or exploitation which are primarily permanent bans or 6-month suspensions. This number does not include separate actions like character name or in-game language violations. We will continue to evolve our methods and act against these malicious accounts on a daily basis.

These dungeons are once again available for play, thank you for your patience.

The Catalyst’s Boon quest became available a week earlier than intended. This quest just points people to the location of the Revival Catalyst which remained unavailable this week. The initial quest has been fixed to become available with the release of the Revival Catalyst after maintenance the week of June 13.

Due to an issue with new Keystones received by players, access to all Mythic Keystone dungeons has been disabled while the issue is investigated. An update will be provided when these dungeons are reactivated.

Just a quick callout on two of the items available during this event. The Tyrael’s Charger mount and the Horadric Haversack 36-slot bag each have a significantly higher chance of dropping on the first Treasure Goblin kill of the day on any character on an account. Subsequent kills or kills on alts have reduced chances for these items. All other items have the same drop rate for each kill.

Here’s a bit of info on how this works:

Once Scalecommander Sarkareth has been defeated for the first time on Mythic difficulty, the Cracked Titan Gem item that begins a Legendary weapon questline for Evokers will have a chance to drop from Scalecommander Sarkareth on all difficulties after the weekly reset in the region that he’s been defeated in. The item will be very rare on Raid Finder difficulty (when available) and slightly increases in drop rate with each difficulty.

We have seen some concerns regarding the Arena rating cutoff details and wanted to confirm that the increased values are accurate. We resolved an issue where the leaderboards were not updating correctly, it now shows the current season cutoff awards. This increase in the cutoffs in comparison to last season is due to weekly MMR increase that was introduced to the game. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will let you know if anything changes.

The team has continued to watch this topic throughout Season 1. An additional bump in the weekly inflation rate was done recently and we continue to monitor the impact of this.

For Season 2, additional changes are being investigated to reduce the disparity in general ratings between Solo Shuffle and the other brackets.

Update: Due to overwhelming feedback, the Retribution Paladin changes in the above notes are going to be pushed live tonight.

The ability to invite opposing faction players to a guild is available for testing on the Embers of Nelthation (10.1) PTR.

Here are a few things we’d like to bring attention to for this test:

• We hope to bring this feature to the game in the Embers of Neltharion update but depending on the extent of issues uncovered during public testing, we may need to delay it in order to provide the best possible experience. We’re enabling a “work in progress” version of the functionality at the outset of this PTR to give us the most possible time to identify and address issues.
• This is a focused implementation, aimed at allowing players who have been enjoying Cross-Faction Instances the ability to join the same guild as their opposite-faction friends and benefit from conveniences like shared chat and guild repairs.
• Guilds are still affiliated with either the Horde or the Alliance, depending on the faction of the guild leader. Guild achievements and guild vend...

There are some issues that have affected the Trading Post and we wanted to provide an update along with where we are at in resolving them.

• We are aware of an issue where the completion credit for activities in the Traveler’s Log is occasionally resetting. We are actively working on addressing this issue and expect to have it resolved this week.
• Some players who complete the Traveler’s Log are not receiving the Ash’adar mount reward immediately in their chest at the Trading Post. We aim to have this resolved this week.

Update: Any items purchased from the Trading Post in the Americas are now be refundable. Items that were purchased during the non-refundable window can be refunded through the weekend to ensure affected players have the time to login and make any desired changes to their Trading Post purchases.

Due to some active issues affecting the Trading Post, the ability to refund purchased items has temporarily been disabled. The Customer Support Team will not be able to assist with refunds while these issues are active.

Updates will be posted once this situation is resolved and we expect all applicable Trading Post item purchases to be refundable at that time, including items purchased during the nonrefundable period.

The first Wrath Classic PvP season will be ending at 10:00 p.m. for each region. In this region, Season 5 will end at 10:00 p.m. PST on January 9 (1:00 a.m. EST, January 10).

During maintenance on January 10, we will update the game, and all Arena points will be converted to Honor.
