I've held off on the competitions/giveaways for now because it is sometimes difficult to get approval to go to the office - they are all closed and we're working from home. I am still working on getting a time to head down to the LA office to ship out the last contest prizes.
But I do have plans to have some more giveaways/contests in the coming months and will definitely let everyone know ahead of time. (I have a ton of books left, so I want to get them into people's hands.)
u/PartWelsh u/Braddock512 I came across the strange bug earlier today. I believe my squadmate who was near the German spawn got killed by the Calliope and somehow I had to die too. As you can see the vehicle is unharmed and my other squad mate was not affected.

No, the proficiency assignment only unlock the three regular camouflage patterns, while the other two camouflage patterns are limited to Speciale and Aviator. Those two are both very nice and would go well with the vanilla sets, especially Gravedigger. If they were added to the proficiency assignment rewards with 6.6, I couldn’t do them anyway because I completed them in December 2018. I also wouldn’t mind buying them for cc in the company or armory if it’s not possible to add them retroactively, but I think there could be some issues for players that don’t have the other [uncommon] and [rare] variants of those sets - I’ve seen comment of players who didn’t have the base variants of Aviator and weren’t able to equip the new ones after buying them in the armory.
I hope my question is clear now, I’m looking forward to an answer from the Devs.

Just to clarify, my question is wether those two camo patterns (I call them Arras and Aerodrome because of their icons) that used to be exclusive to Speciale and are currently available for Aviator in the armory will be added to the German vanilla sets (Paladin, Illusionist, Gravedigger, Wolf). Because for those sets the camo patterns are unlocked via class proficiency assignments and can not be bought with cc, making it impossible to add them through the armory.
(I think you got it anyway just to be sure because you mentioned Speciale coming to the armory, I‘m not worried about that, was thankfully able to grab it last time it was in the rotation)

You can just complete the proficiency assignments to unlock them, right? Just do the assignments.

Hey Braddock, thanks for all you do and put up with. Any chance of a more accessible and effective way to report teamers in Firestorm solos on console? I know the game mode won’t get much more love as things wind down, but there’s a small core of us that would really appreciate a more effective method than just trying to shame them with private messages, lol. Speciale is a specific set and will be in an upcoming armory rotation. The two locked ones in Aviator, I’m still checking on.
Thanks for the fine updates, but what about the community games and anti cheat?
I thought these would be one of the major changes in this release, because without any changes to anti cheat and community games this game will soon be dead :-(
Work continues on anti-cheat. In our last blog (Future of Battlefield V), we indicated that we will have a Community Games update later. That’s still happening.
So you don't plan to add more options ( like increased bullet damage ) to community servers ?
More Community Game features are coming in a later update.

I know you said it won't get delayed but this media blackout gives us the wrong impression. We understand that police brutality towards African Americans and other minorities is an issue but this is about a game update.

Well we don't know when the update would arrive right XD we don't have a date, so when it was planned to push it out mid june then they can secretly delay it to end of june.
When there's one thing we learned in the past one and a half year with BFV then that you can zero trust any information of DICE.
The update is currently scheduled for this week and there's no indication or current plans on changing that. We'll work to have more information tomorrow.

Hey there, I had a question about the submission process on that contest. I don't know if YouTube is fuzzy on view counts like reddit with votes, but I don't think the view count ever changed after I submitted something. I did not expect to win anything but I wasn't sure if I missed something in the submission process or maybe even submitted the wrong link. No biggie, but thanks in advance if you can easily find out.
I watched every video that was submitted and eligible for the contest.
