And we have some thoughts on how to improve the armory rotations - AND we discussed Company Coin accrual rates (as that is also impacting what people can purchase in the Armory outside of Boins items).

One little update on this: The team agreed that a calendar (2-4 weeks) showing WHAT will hit the Armory and when is a great idea so we're going to draft out what that would look like and then see how we can implement in the core community channels like Reddit, Forums, Steam Forums, and Twitter. As we move forward, I'll keep y'all updated.

I did. I even called out that I was asked by the Reddit Community to say #SAVEBFV.

Because that’s how they set the rotation. Usually on a 2 week cadence.

I would love BOTH of those options, honestly. I will recommend it, for sure.

The Armory isn't going to get redesigned. Full stop. Not at this stage of Battlefield V.

We have a meeting tomorrow morning (7AM my time - YAY!) and I'll ask about how we're focusing the rotations - because there will be rotations (as far as I've been told as of last week) for the remainder of the time for Battlefield V.

Refreshing daily isn't possible because it has to be QA'd every time there's a new Armory update - and that has to happen before it's pushed to production (live) to avoid some of the mishaps we've had in the past. And then there's the whole "I missed the rotation on Monday that had something I wanted - I'm mad!" stuff that exacerbates the situation further.

That doesn't work because this sub flames me when I do that - even though I've been as active as possible (and posting on Reddit and Forums isn't my entire job as a CM, though it is a big critical part to keep up with the community and share details).

The past few days I've actually had some significant personal life stuff going on (I've had to take a few days off because my apt is being sold and my wife and I have 6 weeks to move while there's still a pandemic going on and infection rates are rising, but that's my own bag of crap to deal with, but it is why I have had been offline for a few days) so you'll have to forgive me for not being as active as I have been in the past. Additionally, with all the things going on in the US AND the World regarding racial injustice over the past couple of weeks, our global channels (within all of EA) have taken a step back to listen to other voices on the internet. While it's not what the community wants to hear, the dev team have stated previously - and I shared this again 6 days ago in this thread - there are no plans to faction lock Elites.

I've definitely shared the feedback from the community - the good, the bad, the ugly - and the Dev team have discussed the feedback with various cross-functional teams and a decision was made.

I don't make the decisions. I just share with the community what the Devs have decided.

I'm referring to the in-game leaderboard in matches that is available with MP games. As noted above by another player, this isn't visible in Firestorm. Therefore, the normal process of reporting someone in-game doesn't work so the alternate process is required, which isn't a great option.

RE: Night maps, it doesn't look like they will be available, but Freeman and I are seeing what options would be available (we're also talking about extreme weather options).

RE: AA tweaks - I haven't heard anything regarding tweaks, but the team is looking towards the next update and I'll see if there's any updates/tweaks/adjustments. I did highlight this in my community report and in a couple of our calls with various teams.

To report on PS4 or Xbox One:

1. Open the Options screen.
2. Open Scoreboard.
3. Click the player’s persona name.
4. Choose View Profile.
5. Click Option.
6. Select Report.
7. Select In-game behavior.

Absolutely. The in-game reporting process for cheating/abuse doesn't work for Firestorm due to the fact that there's no leaderboard for Firestorm.
And the alternative way to report - create a ticket at EA Help that gets escalated to the TOS team then to the anti-cheat team - it's too clunky, not intuitive, and honestly, most folks can't be bothered by it.

I do agree that teaming up in a solo mode to imbalance the match against players that are playing legit is, at best, griefing (TOS violation). At worst, it's outright cheating. I've hit up Sean, our Anti-Cheat Dev, on the best way to address this - via reporting and taking action. I'm waiting for a reply, then will share with you all what the team tells me.

The last time I checked with the team, they have no intentions of locking Elites to particular theaters/factions. I have no indication that this will change.

The passive approach: If they're in your squad, then politely ask them to switch to a faction accurate elite or normal solider. If they refuse, then kick them.

The zero tolerance approach: Do not let them in your squad, do not give them ammo, do not heal/revive them. Get the point across that they're butchering the immersion and need to switch their character or leave the game.

Just a heads-up.The second option is actually a violation of the Terms of Service regarding harassment, griefing, and abuse of other players. (And we have a zero tolerance policy on that. I'm not trying to threaten you or whatever. Just giving you a heads-up.)

Now, if you feel it's so terrible, you can create a solo squad or only squad with your friends who feel like you. Alternately, create a Custom Game and when you tell people about it, let them know that they will be expected to use "appropriate" customization/Elites based on your map choices. But to ...
