Try it! If you succeed, he’ll, I’ll send ya something.

In fact: First person to successfully “tip” a V1/J2 with video proof will get something sent to them.

Are you kidding me, you will literally bring up the fact that we want those questions answered, but you still won’t answer them.... the fan base wants to know. COD is about to wipe your game off the face of the earth if you don’t give the community the answers they want. Don’t get me wrong, I love this game, but it is really letting down my expectations.

Sorry if you missed any of my replies where I literally said if I have the answers you’re looking for, I would provide them. I don’t at this time because I haven’t been given the answers myself. Have a good weekend.

Let me check with the Specialist on Monday and see if he’s made any traction on the case.

Wear the outfit, and creep up to unsuspecting snipers in a very awkward and seductive crawl.

You can tease the new skins in the armoury 1 day before it normally goes up and we can have fun every Monday trying to hunt down Braddock...

Or not.. lol

That would be fun. I really like this idea.

please stop caring about downvotes, we care about communication

like you said, it is not in your hands, you just the messenger but we want those messages going back and forth between the community and dice, because that way we give each other input and help each other out which should lead to improvement of the game / community

if you aint got any news, thats cool, cant expect news every day, however, the community always has news, be it bugs, suggestions, feedback etc, at least the communication keeps going and that is what makes us happy

not sharing news gets us impatient, frustrated.. we'll be asking "why doesnt dice do anything or share anything?" and we'll be giving dice mean looks etc.. we dont wanna be sitting ducks as that is gonna lead to a bad reputation for dice

anyway, im glad you shared man, keep it up

To be clear, the only reason I mentioned the downvotes thing in that reply is because at a certain threshold of downvote, they get hidden/collapsed. I've literally had folks PM me asking me a question that I had answered but they missed because of the heavy downvote. Reddit Karma isn't important to me.

Now, one thing I have to note - if someone shares a bug/issue, there's not much I can say when they share it other than "Will forward this to our QA/Devs for investigation", which sorta frustrates people sometimes - like, I can't fix the issue right there on the Reddit thread. LOL So, I've built a Trello board - we're working on the team structure/process to roll it out, but it's gonna be great. Have you seen the ...

Mistakes happen, deadlines slip. I'm a programmer, I've been there, but your Dev team don't seem to be accountable for the failures to stick to your announced roadmaps and promised features OR the people publishing those dates are not in touch with reality and you take the brunt of it every time.

Somewhere something is going wrong - and it's visible from outside of your company which means it's serious. Obviously we have no idea what is wrong so people hurl abuse at you and demand information and answers.

I guess you know all this but I just hope you are looking after yourself (mentally) and you know that the ranting is not aimed at you personally but is born of frustration and disappointment. I hope ...

(Okay, don't hate me, but I have to keep my replies to your extremely ON-POINT questions very short, so stay with me.)
Oh yes.
Yes.
Sometimes.
To be fair, I make my share of mistakes - and I gladly take the heat for those, because I learn from them (I hope). And I hope I can say the same for others. ;)
I'm good mentally. But I appreciate your concern. (I'll always be crazy, but that's normal for me.)

In an effort to be constructive, is there anything we as a community can do to help?

That's a hard one to answer. The reason it's hard is because I can't ask/expect anything right now. We have to show YOU all by our ACTIONS where we're going .I guess if I had one request of the community - and it's ballsy for me to even suggest - just watch. Just watch. I want us to succeed so much in this game, not because it's my job (that would be nice), but because I'm a fan of this franchise. Heck, I have a giant Battlefield...

No one said that you did go insulting anyone though? Like I said, I know there are people who take it too far, I'm not condoning that. I'm simply saying that with how piss poor the game has been handled (which I know you won't publicly agree with, you work for them) in regards to everything ranging from uniforms to game breaking bugs, people have had enough. Much like you, everyone does have a breaking point and whether you guys want to admit or not, this game has exceeded almost everyone's limit.

Now in regards to the Devs, such as Nicholas, I haven't seen anything said about them that they don't deserve. I'm sure there are things being said that cross the line, but most of what I have seen is legit criticism that the company seems to lack the capability of taking. You guys (not you specifically) have attacked us and referred to us as uneducated when it is very clear we know more than the entire studio does about the setting they chose. You guys should have known that eve...

I'm not going to get into the comments someone, who no longer works here, said over a year ago.

Regarding some comments from some devs, you gotta understand this: while I may not agree with how some folks have responded to criticism or frustration from the community, I'm not gonna drag them through the mud. Trust me when I say this: when someone says something boneheaded on Twitter/Reddit, etc. and it creates more work for me and PartWelsh because we don't get to focus on talking about the game, but rather talking about what So-and-So said and how it impacted the community, we’re unnecessary distracted. And we address things internally. I don't try to make my co-workers' jobs harder for them, and they don’t want make mine harder for me. (That's fair, right? 🙂 )

RE: the state of the game - man, it's frustrating right now. And I feel that frustration, just as y'all do. But I truly believe we're going to get ahead of the issues, we're going to get the game in a g...

We do have a life outside of this game and community - and we won't apologize for it. And you can't hold it against us, because that's ridiculous and unreasonable. (Now, I'm not saying YOU are ridiculous or unreasonable, but we have a life.)

Can you take a look at it and perhaps adjust it to the problem within the BFV store/armoury? We dump feedback on you guys 24/7 and we not heard a single word about the armoury but Apex came to the table within days of the problem being raised.

It's definitely a great step in the right direction for Apex Legends, and the Armory rotations, contents, etc. is something I regularly annoy multiple teams about.

Each time I mention that Epic items won't be purchasable with Company Coin, it gets downvoted to oblivion, like I made that decision. It's a fact of the game and completely out of my hands. What I make sure to do every time I talk about the Armory internally is discuss how the community feels about the amount of Company Coin items that are available, the rarity and uniqueness, the lack of authentic uniforms, etc.
And sometimes I get feedback, sometimes I don't. When I do, I share it - when I can (because if I share stuff TOO early and it gets pulled/cancelled/changed, it's on ME , even if I was just the messenger.) When I don't get an update/info, I share that too. And that goes over REALLY well. :)

You'll have to wait and see. There's nothing I can talk about today.

I don't ask Origin for anything. #DevTools
And I get that stuff so I can take screenshots for posts, etc. rather than wait for our media team to sort it out (which takes days sometimes).

And I generally don't use it in-game until it's released - like TOW weapons/unlocks - - YES, there was that ONE time that I had that ONE outfit and a screengrab was taken. (This is really old news, so let's move on.)

Dude I have respect for you but seriously that is the laziest excuse I think you could have come up with. I'm not saying a lot of people don't take it too far sometimes, but it is highly frustrating when the game is very much on its deathbed and we don't get the answers we need to resuscitate it.

Because I've already responded to this elsewhere, I'm just gonna toss this link here: https://www.reddit.com/r/BattlefieldV/comments/crd7dj/battlefield_v_weekly_debrief_august_16_bombastic/ex41tjn?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x

And me not tolerating abusive insults isn't a lazy excuse. I 100% understand frustration - I have my own with the lack of information I'm given, then I get to feel all of y'alls. But I don't go insulting/abusing th...

I know what my job is. It's to relay information to the Devs from the community and from the Devs to the community, to take feedback from the community regarding the game, features, bugs, etc. and escalate them, etc.

And trust me when I say, if I had information from the Devs to relay, I would be sharing it. Therein lies the issue. I don't have answers to some of the questions - or an update beyond "they're still working to address XYZ". And to be absolutely blunt, even when I give the answer from the Devs, if it's not what some folks want to hear - perhaps it's a bandwidth issue, or out of the scope of design, etc. - I'm accused of "not listening", "not caring" and then I get heaps of insults and abuse, including people telling me how to do my job. If I provide an answer and it changes at the last minute, I'm blamed for being misleading, so a lot of times I hold on to the last possible second before answering some questions, just in case a dev changes something at the last...

There were still a couple of bugs they noted, so they're continuing to work on getting it sorted. I should know more on the progress of their testing early next week.

After posting these you are nowhere to be found. Yes, you have a life we all do. But this is your job and frankly most people would say it’s being done poorly.

Well, I'm not going to respond to abusive insults. Any information I have to share is downvoted and perpetuates the myth that by being abusive, they get attention. So I'm done with that.

Is this an intentional game mechanic?

Just for research purposes :)

Historically, planes would "tip" V1/J2 rockets to throw them off course.
Flying directly into it is another option.
