Thanks for sharing, I hope Type 2A is now nerfed enough so it won't be used in every map/mode all the time.
It's gonna have increased recoil and a faster accuracy decrease with hipfire than previously.

I'm sorry but I always loved the Battlefield V gunplay, back from the early alpha onwards.
5.2 weapons feel bad, really bad. Because they lack any real sense of impact or recoil.
Recoil will be coming back.
So are the recoil values similar to how they were in 5.2? This TTK change is a great step in the right direction but having every weapon laser isn't that fun.
Recoil has also been tweaked.
I will reserve my excitement until I see them.

u/braddock512 I’m assuming the fg42 example is meant for us to extrapolate on to the other fully automatic weapons in the game....is there going to be a “master sheet” that has all of the individual details on weapon balance to come this week or is that coming next week? It’s better than nothing but i was hoping to see recoil values, rof etc. today or tomorrow... Is this all you’re allowed to share for the moment?
This is all I'm allowed to share at the moment, but I definitely encourage you to try out the various weapons once the update drops.
You'll find that most of the weapons have been aligned with their 5.0 BTK values, albeit with a minor increase in recoil for some.
What about the assignments for the mab 38 where you need to get kills 30m or above?
You'll be alright after 6.2 drops.
Recoil and accuracy values have been adjusted to be consistent with the values in 6.0.
So what does this mean exactly? That there's still going to be the same lack of recoil that there currently is in the game, or that the recoil/accuracy values will be adjusted so that weapons compared to each other remain consistent while still having more recoil across the board?
Recoil will be adjusted to remain consistent while having increased recoil for most of the weapons - not significant enough to make them unwieldy, but also they won't be lasers.
Nah thats supposed to be tank body customization.
Expect a showcase and then angry feedback because most if not all will probably be boins only.
Sneak preview - 37 parts are dropping in the Company (for Company Coin) with Update 6.2.
There will be various parts in Armory rotations at various levels, with some Epics.

Overall, most of the weapons returned to 5.0 values - if not slightly more (at 100m range - like, maybe 1 extra bullet at distance, but on weapons where it made sense.)

We know that one of the biggest conversation topics of which we’ve received a plethora of feedback and data on has been the weapon changes that came with Update 5.2 / Hotfix 5.2.2. As noted in the previous Community Broadcast by Global Community Manager Adam “PartWelsh” Freeman:
