Here's another week of OIB Moments of the Week.

Not a bug. Soldier customization is linked to the characters. If you have Helmut as your Recon, and use Helmut for Assault, he’ll have the same customization. Switch characters for each class to have different customization.

I feel ya, for sure. One of the recent updates enabled you to set your "preset" (for lack of a better term) based on the soldier. Example: You customize Helmut to have winter gear. No matter what class he's in, Helmut will have winter gear. So if you set him as Assault and are on Fjell, but want to switch to Support, select Helmut. (It's sorta like a preset, but not 100%. TL;DR - set up your customization for biomes based on the soldier characters.)

Currently (and I don't know if it's going to change), if you a representing a platoon, the platoon emblem overrides any personal emblem.
So, the workaround is... don't represent a platoon.
(I've been trying to get info on how we can address this - it's more of a quality of life thing rather than a critical issue, to be totally honest, but I totally understand the importance many folks place on this.)

Redeem your Product Code in the Origin client

For PC

1. Log in with the EA Account where you want to add the game.
2. Click the Origin menu.
3. Select Redeem Product Code...

For Mac

1. Log in with the EA Account where you want to add the game.
2. Go to your computer's top menu to select Games and Redeem Product Code...

Redeem your Product Code on origin.com

1. Log in to the Origin store website using the EA Account where you want to add the game.
2. Select ...

Yeah. We did a while back and put their pics in a thread.

Prepare for satisfaction.

The codes are for Origin, but they apply the emblem to the entire EA account.

For example:

• You play on Xbox One.
• You snag a code.
• It's a 12 digit code - won't fit in the Xbox Redeem Code area.
• Using the account your Gamertag that you play Battlefield V on, head over to Origin.com and login with your EA account.
• Click on My Game Library on the left.
• When the screen loads, click on "Add a Game" at the top right and enter the code.
• Boom. The emblem will be waiting in your Armory Shipments when you next login. (If you're currently logged in, you may need to go to the Armory, then the Company, then back to the Armory to have it sync with the new Shipment.

How about now? (Also, what platform are you on and what region are you in? I can forward the info if you're still unable to login to Origin/EA Services.)

Re-escalated to the team to investigate.

Looks like they're back up - or are recovering. Give it a go.

I'm not part of the TOS team and honestly don't have the tools to remove clan tags, so if you find a platoon using that tag, report them and the TOS team - that does have the tools to remove/ban folks - can take action.
