How long do you think we need to wait? A couple days? A week? A couple weeks? Just for a rough idea of when to expect it, it doesn’t have to be a confirmed date, if just like to have an idea 🙃
Well, I know we all love an announcement of an announcement. ;) Within Battlefest we’ll be sharing a good amount details on the upcoming chapter. That’s about as specific as I can be, for now.
Any update of when Chapter 5 might arrive? November or December? Thanks for the updates.

I like the Community Emblem, picked it up last time. I prefer to think of it as "unity", something that's in stark contrast to the large number of players I see every day with nazi-related clantags/gamertags on PS4/EU. Interesting that for all the filtering and progressiveness, they allow support of hate groups to flourish in clantags.
We don't allow or support hate groups. Report them properly and appropriate action will be taken.

Not yet.
Starting the game up caused the same issue. Wil re install tomorrow. Ridiculous though that this is needed still for any game, let alone one that has been out for as long as bf5 is and for which this was a known issue months ago.
I understand, totally. My thought is that it may be a corrupt install / update that didn’t apply because we did address crashing on PS4 a few updates ago. I know it’s a pain and I appreciate you at least trying so I can share this info with the team to investigate further.
Does it have to be your own gameplay or can you use gameplay from others if you have their permission?
Must be your gameplay. “No collaborative efforts”.
So wanted to play again after a couple of months not playing. Game crashed and caused ps4 reboot with the first match I tried, exactly the same reason as to why I stopped months ago. Did not happen all the time then but enough that I was worrying about the health of my ps4. (Other games run fine btw)
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling?
Even though this specific contest is not "cinematic" contest, it says montage/multiclip, can you still create cinematic style video for this underground contest?

Did the pc performance in this game tank recently? I tired to play Op Underground after taking a break for all of ch4 but I’m having some serious microstutter that wasn’t present before. Set it at min latency and tried dx12 on and off and nothing worked. Very good ping and rig too, i5 9600k and a 1070. Didn’t try any other map tho.

Xbox one doesn't have 1080p though right?
I believe both the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X have 1080 capture ability (in the settings). And, I saw a video (can't remember the URL) from Epos Vox that showed how to upscale a 720p video to 1080p for YouTube.
I noticed that with the very bottom tunnel that is always flooded, you can swim from one side of the map to the other, but you take 60 damage from drowning. There is a med station that you can heal at on both sides so I use this to flank very often

The Battlefield OST in the Soundcloud are copyright free? I did receive some claims when I used BF1 OST, a while back.
Also, can the video be a bit longer than 120 seconds?
We will be doing a cinematic contest near the start of Chapter 5 which will allow for longer videos.
120 seconds is a fair amount of time for some clips - usually the same length as a trailer. (I guess it depends on how much longer than 120 seconds. Like, 130, sure. 180, no.)
RE: the copyright claim you mentioned, we don't do that. If you get another one, let me know immediately - there's been some issues with companies pushing false claims that we've had to work to resolve.
Talking about music, can you also use music from previous battlefield titles like Bf1942 or BF4 and so on?
Sure. If it's on the Battlefield Official Soundcloud, you're free to use it. (That much I can 100% guarantee.)
If you have official versions of the music from other places, just make sure you note that in the description of your video on YouTube - but anything outside of Battlefield music (if not copyright free) can result in potential sanctions from YouTube - and I'd hate to see that happen to anyone.
Haven’t seen the diving option on underground yet in action. Must keep an eye out for it!
It’s an awesome way to flank. Just don’t stay in the underwater tunnels too long or you’ll drown.
