Well, in 2019 1350x720 is kinda small... Even 1920x1080 already considered moderate, but not big.

Update: It's because of Auto Pilot change, it also affects bots so they now can sail a little different way because of it.

Actually, that's a regular practice. If you going to get a compensation in doubloons (e.g. during some event) we always specify it.
And regarding that particular event it was mentioned that compensation is going to be in credits.
