Correct Scarlet Wing is from a variety of levels on the free pass. There’s also a “Silver Wing” apparel set from the L100 premium chest. An example of an item from that is the “Silver Wing Valkyrian Helm”.

Thanks for the reply, Silver Wing is the appropriate apparel set that you should be granting, Cardinal is an incorrect name that’s displayed in that text and we’ll get that fixed in a future update.

Hi folks,

For the skin, are you seeing the “Silver Wing” apparel set in your skin list?

As mentioned, your feedback is going to be very helpful with this change! Please check it out on the PTR so we can take a look at data and hear from your experience.

If you’re seeking to test your mettle against a single other player, you can always duel! I can understand the desire for this game mode, but we have other content planned that’s higher priority for us than 1v1 Arena mode at this time.

As Properso mentioned, we’ve done a rather deep pass on which enemies can stagger and on what attacks. Our vision moving forward is that attacks that can stagger are well telegraphed, with ample time for the player to respond. If there’s particular AI that you feel are specifically problematic, feel free to call them out and we can investigate if they’re up to our standards, but in the last few patches we have significantly reduced the overall quantity of AI staggers in the game.

Hi folks,

The lighting during the Brimstone Sands patch was the result of a bug with the arena level. We fixed that bug and brought the lighting back to its intended state after that patch. At this time we don’t have plans to revert that change.

Those numbers are for what we call our passive Season XP gain. This passively rewards you with season XP for participating in content within the game. It’s not intended to be the primary driver of progression through the pass, that comes from your Season Journey and Season Activities which give meatier progression and significantly more XP. So in practice, your Outpost Rush example would also include the activity cards asking you to get a Killing Blow or participate in an Outpost Rush, which can give you a good bit more Season XP, the passive XP is just an additional bonus on top of those gains.

That said, we are adding in a few additional passive XP vectors with the next PTR update, and are looking into additional enhancements on top of those. We’ll be looking at data and feedback closely!

Thanks for the feedback! We like the idea of the Seasonal category as pointing at content that’s unique to that season, however we agree that more activities can fall into that category. We’ll take a look at this and see what can be added here to make this category stronger.

Thanks for the call out, this was an oversight on our end and we’ll work to make sure Flame Cores are tradeable like other resources.

For the skins you’re asking about, the Season Pass includes 5 Seasonal Armor Skin pieces, 1 Seasonal Armor Set (5 pieces), 9 Seasonal Weapon Skins, 6 Seasonal Tool Skins, 1 Seasonal Emote, and 1 Tent skin.

A number of these are contained within containers that include other items as well. Are the skins not well-surfaced on the pass? Or are you wanting more on top of that. Thanks for the feedback!

I’m saying that specific point of feedback isn’t something that will be addressed in Season 1, but other changes have and will continue to be made. Not all of that is on the PTR yet, but we’re continuing to collect data and feedback from you all. Additionally, feedback from you all has long term value. There is feedback on the forums and in this thread that can help inform our long term plan for features, and making sure you have a focused place to provide that feedback is helpful for us so that we can build the best game possible.

There’s a lot of great feedback and discussion all over the forums. These focus threads give us a lot of valuable, focused discussion on topics but we don’t want to shy away from engaging in other discussions where we can glean useful information from you all!

And thanks for the activity card feedback, that dilemma you mentioned of not having a stamp available for a completed activity is one that we want to feel more rewarding long-term. While we won’t have any changes for that launching with Season 1, it’s something we’ve discussed internally and would like to improve in a future season.

What’s making you feel like you have to do PvP in order to progress the Season Journey? The goal with the Journey is that it offers a path forward for both types of players. As a PvE only player you’ll never be forced to do the PvP Content to progress to the next chapter, however there may be some PvP tasks that would be straightforward for you to complete.

Thanks for the continued feedback! Those three examples you listed are all activities that live on the Activity Card right now, and completing one of those activities will give you a substantial Season XP bump (~250 for one activity, more if you’re completing a row or a card.) The intent here is that the activity card is the vehicle for that casual, passive experience gain as you play. You’ll complete an activity, be notified, and be able to claim that XP. Ultimately you’re getting substantially more season XP for completing those activities than you would if it was just passively giving you XP (...

Hey BrinZalazar,

Thanks for the thoughtful writeup of your feedback! I wanted to follow up on one specific point you made, that you want to progress your season pass with everything you do. How do you feel that the activity card plays into this? The activities on that card are intended to be more open ended things you’ll naturally do in a play session, and you can get good chunks of Season XP for tackling those. How’s that feeling right now?

Past the activities card we do also reward passive season XP for the following activities;

  • Crafting a Gypsum Cast
  • Expedition Boss kills
  • Outpost Rush wins
  • PvP Arena Wins
  • War
  • Invasions
  • PvP Kills
  • Major Corruption Breaches
  • Quests
  • Faction Missions
  • Aptitude Levels

I see you’ve suggested some other sources and we’ll keep those in mind, but in the meantime how does that current list stack up?

Hello! I do want to level set expectations, there’s only 250 of each attribute mod in this backstory. Will work to significantly increase that number for easier gear rolling in the future, it should’ve been higher to begin with but hopefully this is an overall improvement to your testing experience.

Thanks for the feedback for the Silver Crows storyline. Our plan for the storyline is that certain parts will remain indefinitely, specifically anything related to the building of the Silver Crows camp or organization. So if you happen to join in Season 2 for the first time, you’ll still get the chance to go interview candidates and recruit Zander. The parts that will disappear between seasons is the season-specific storyline, which in the case of Season 1 is anything that has to do with Skye. We want new players to be able to hop into the storyline fairly rapidly, and we also want to make sure that the story feels relevant to the current season.

The story of Season 2 will be very different than the story of Season 1, and our end goal here is to make sure Aeternum feels like a living and breathing world, so as the season ends some POIs and enemies might change as well in preparation for the new Season. New POIs and new characters will be sure to pop up in Season 2 as we conti...
