You can send it to our support team at the top left here under "Submit Request" if it's already listed as a known issue there's no need though. https://support.playdauntless.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408398117147

Thanks!

Something like this would make the game easier and you can customize it and change parts for more damage if you want: https://www.reddit.com/r/dauntless/comments/tijlid/easy_build_for_those_like_me_who_are_too_lazy_to/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb

Bastion and Iceborne omnicells will help. Bulwark tonics from Granny Strega will make you very tanky for a couple of hits too, if you don't mind collecting some herbs or have the spare rams to buy them.

Agreed on tough. Tough 6, Koshai's Bloom, and Icebourne Omnicell combination can make it pretty hard to die on all but the toughest challenges. Take away any one of those 3 and you're still probably rarely going to die and can focus the rest on damage output.

I'm a big fan of Koshai's as a survivability option because it still hits hard and adds mobility on top of the recovery. It can also be used to escape keystone behemoths grab/eating you on the chance you miss a dodge there.

  1. Thrax
  2. Lightbound Koshai

If you bring 4 players, can you 1-shot with 4 axes at once from full hp? Where's the limit? Can you synergize between players to make it happen with 3? All shocking questions...I'll just let that eat away at you for no particular reason.

This is something we're looking into as it can also cause teams to be unable to complete the escalation. Personally, for now, I intentionally don't hit Thrax when it's doing that. Having to do that, or worse, having to end the Thrax.exe process isn't an ideal situation.

Just an update, week 10 challenges should be showing up now. If there are any other issues please just let us know. As always, I'll try to keep key live issues up-to-date here.

Just an addition, at the top of the Discord channel there's an "Events" calendar you can follow to hang out with some awesome groups of people!

I believe it should be a complete set of Phaelanx Gear rather than just the armor. I'll go ahead and flag this translation to be looked at.

I would need at least 15 hands to count how many players I explained to, what elemental damage and procs are. The game itself doesn't tell you anything about it. There is no way to know without consulting external sources, so relics like this are bound to lead to confusion.

I agree that things could be more clear, and appreciate the feedback! The team is now aware of the bug, and I've separately forwarded feedback on clarity around elemental damage as well as descriptions and damage types.

I did a quick run on the Training Grounds. It looks like, as others mentioned, the counter stops at 10 but still triggers at 15.

+250 damage AND major blaze damage may just be a little confusing. I suspect it's 250 and separately some additional blaze damage, the distinction would be important to people that get into specifics with builds. Keep in mind, dealing enough of the given elements damage will light a behemoth on fire, so that matters too.

In my test, excluding crits, I was getting 250/204 part/wound damage, Hit 15 was 592/481 just as an example of the differences I saw, core got the same numbers as part damage. (you'll want to hit slow and on the same part to make sure it's uniform if you're curious)

In short, it seems to be working but there is a visual issue with the icon. Definitely keep using it if you like it though as it is functioning.

It looks like there was a little confusion here. You can level up your personal abilities in each escalation type up to 25. This is referring to that rather than the level reached within an escalation. The location to do so is right behind Arkan Drew in Ramsgate. https://i.imgur.com/HKH2RTH.png

Thanks for the report, this one is on the radar and is something we're looking into.

Poor Gnasher. For new players that will never get to experience it, here's a video of the old one. https://youtu.be/AzJd5GVDVDY?t=7

EDIT: apparently I cant post images in this comment / reply so Im not sure how to get this visual info to you.

Changing instances or relogging should fix this, though a few changes were made.

  1. Week 2 "A Slayers Duty" was rebalanced from 5 to 10.
  2. Week 4 "To Mount Torgodoro" was rebalanced from 3 to 5.

Because of this, slayers that quickly completed them will see them partially completed and available to be completed again. Sorry for the confusion!
