Hello,

I'd like to share my story behind the design of the divination card: "Rebirth and Renewal". I have played Path of Exile on and off since its Beta release in 2013. I love this game because of its depth in gear crafting and its endless build possibilities. Every season is a brand new experience for me.

I joined Path of Exile 10 years ago just before open beta was released, after some of my friends told me several times that the game was excellent and a perfect alternative to Diablo 3 which we were playing at the time. Last week we posted an approximate timeline for our upcoming 3.19 expansion. We've reviewed it since then and would like to give you an updated timeline.

Our August expansion is more likely to launch on August 19th PDT, consuming the week of buffer we mentioned in that announcement post. This means that you can expect the announcement livestream around August 11th PDT and Sentinel League's end date would be around August 16th PDT.

With the Sentinel League ending soon, you may be wondering whether this mechanic becomes a part of Path of Exile's core game.

The answer is no, for now. The league would take some changes before it would be appropriate to become a core Path of Exile mechanic, and while this is something we're interested in looking into in the future, it's not the time now.

When the Sentinel League ends in a few weeks, all of your existing Power Cores and Sentinels will be deleted.

Recombinators won't drop anymore, but the existing ones will continue to work in Standard and will become progressively more scarce as they are consumed. We know that you really enjoyed the crafting options provided by Recombinators, and we are looking for a way to bring them back in the future. Later this week, we're planning to deploy 3.18.1d which includes a few improvements and bug fixes. In this news post we've prepared a preview of its patch notes.

The following patch notes are still subject to change prior to the patch's deployment. We'll deploy the 3.18.1d update on consoles as soon as possible after its release on PC.

3.18.1d Patch Notes

This patch contains a handful of improvements and bug fixes, alongside fixes for a couple of client crashes.

• Divine Vessels are now able to modify Maps while you have the Stream of Consciousness Atlas Keystone Passive allocated.

As the ongoing Sentinel League progresses, we wanted to shed some light on our next expansion's release date.

The 3.19 expansion will probably launch on August 12th PDT, which means that the Sentinel League will end on approximately the 9th of August PDT. We'll confirm Sentinel's end date later in the news as we get closer to it. As usual, we'll unveil the details of the expansion a week before the launch during a livestream. Please note that the above dates are just our current plan, and we may have to change them if development runs into any issues (if so, it'd likely just be back one week).

As we have said earlier, the 3.19 expansion, as well as all future expansions in the leadup to Path of Exile 2, will contain further improvements to Path of Exile's endgame. And of course, you can expect a new challenge league ... Read more
