Why are there only 3 maps in the rotation? Why not rotate all the maps for some variety? Is this some "competitive" thing or what?
We'll have four maps in rotation for S10: 3 custom maps and one BR POI. Honestly, using a POI from an existing BR map is... okay, but nowhere near as good as using a custom maps. We're putting all the custom maps we have into rotation, but it just takes time to make more good custom maps. There'll be more coming in the future, don't worry!
Hey! I'm just curious if you guys are going to look into balancing the skull town arena map? It seems a bit wacky atm.
Skulltown is gonna be gone when the Genesis event ends. It was never a great Arenas map (too vertical, too many routes, very chaos for chaos' sake) plus there's a technical limitation: if we wanna keep Skulltown in rotation, we'd have to keep the entirety of season 0 KC in the build. Build size is a real limitation for us, so unfortunately that's not something we can do. Hope you had fun playing on it! You still have a few days before it's gone.

Yup! The idea right now is 3 custom maps (Phase Runner / Partycrasher / Overflow) plus a POI from a BR map, usually rotating weekly as they have been.
We've been testing Overflow since before Arenas launched and it's been my favorite Arena. Can't wait for you all to play on it!
Yeah. At leash with octane, path, or horizon you can hear their mobility things. But with rev it's only one person who can use it so I suppose that's the balance.
If his climb sound is too quiet, we'll absolutely increase the volume.
Where is my fuse buff devs? You said a month ago that you were buffing him.
We got stuff in flight for him but it wasn't ready for 9.1. No ETA, as always, but hoping to ship something soon.
As a Rev main, I think the changes to his kit are pretty fair overall and should help make Revtane less oppressive while also maintaining his unique playstyle.
Wait until you try out the climb. It's not going to be massively powerful, but it feels so good.
No fix for Loba's ult in Arenas not grabbing loot occasionally, or Valk's ult sending teammates to the shadow realm?
Last I checked we were still investigating that Loba ult bug. It's not very easy to reproduce so we don't have the greatest confidence that we know what causes it yet.
what about the Valk bug when teammates get stuck in her ult, fly under the map and die if theres any surface above them while launching?
I *think* that should be fixed. I'll check why the fix didn't make it into the patch notes.
More of a troll. I'd like to think they wouldn't be as bold if they weren't still planning for some buffs in the future
Yeah, we're working on stuff. No ETA because it's still very exploratory, but goals would be to make it more in the moment fun and powerful to play Wattson while removing some of the invisible power (because as I keep saying, Wattson does sport VERY high win rates).

I said the legend will have a passive that's useless for Arenas. Exactly like current Pathfinder. Is Pathfinder useless in Arenas?

That might be appropriate some day but no plan to do that yet! We're sticking with one legend per season.

I'm ultimately responsible for all nerfs and buffs to Legends, yes. I sign off on changes jaybiebs makes and so the horizon stuff is 100% on me as well.
As a side note, and this applies not just to talking about video games on the internet, try not to make sweeping statements about other people's intentions. You're guaranteed to be wrong and you'll only end up pissing people off.
Sad we'll never get another buff for the bamboozle boy because he's apparently Predator material based off of one video that showed a Predator not using a single decoy and winning lol. Highest we've ever seen is B tier and that was with the invisible push. The Dance Party rework was great until they nerfed it with the holo-emitters coming out of invisibility which makes it stupidly easy to spot the right one. Something that still hasn't been fixed because Daniel only wanted the holo-emitters to be the only tell, but now there are 3 due to bugs.
This type of post is the reason most devs don't come here. When you take a small thing I said a while ago and just keep bringing it up with all this malice and spite I don't see why I should volunteer my time here. I'd really love to hang out here and talk with the subreddit more, but people like you make that an exercise in self-harm.
These stats are so off. I wonder where they get them from. Anyway octane's been most picked ever since we buffed the jump pad
