I can't get over the fact this game is so much more immersive and better looking than most AAA games. I fell in love with this game within the first 30 minutes of playing and I can't stop. Truly a masterpiece. 👌

You can always try and play any game supported by Geforce NOW on your pad. I even play Hell Let Loose on my phone this way ;).
Would it be possible to make the game work for current Linux / Proton users as a start?
Currently not, then we need a upgrade to Epics Online Services as far as I know. But, this is more a Q for the programming department.

The devs are currently using low resolution textures on american and german vehicles because of pperformance. In a dev breif in the past, they described "smart materials" where you essentially have one texture for each material, e.g one for wood, one for steel and so on. The russian tanks already have this system and have higher resolution textures
Spot on! Smart Materials will be applied over time to all vehicles ;).

Would literally mean we need to cut the render budgets in half. There is no such thing as a "mode" or "button" we can press. Every frame gained equals lots of manual work.

Nah, enemies cannot hear opposite side admin cam, since it’s basically the same proximity chat functionality

blue is proximity chat but only your team can hear it.

You mean the blue name color bottom left? That's just for your team. Enemy's can't hear you. The is no way to communicate to the enemy at all.
