Majority of the time this is due to lack of RAM
Hey Mod Dark cheers for replying. I've been reporting, my specs are mid 2015 retina 13 inch, 8 gb ram, running on Mojave
I don't think we get those reports (we have our own crash reporting), if you can pastebin the text in the report window I can look into your individual case
Can you pastebin the full contents of the crash report (click "Report..." when it crashes and copy+paste the wall of text)?
Have you tried downloading the dmg in the last few hours? I believe we just shipped the fix for this in the most recent client update
Edit: Seems to have been a deployment issue but we're looking to get this fix out asap
Galaxy Tab A, model SM-T510
I'm afraid that tablet, despite being a 2019 model, is underpowered for 3d gaming. The GPU is significantly weaker than most android phones released in the past few years. It's unfortunate that this is a specification that manufacturers often hide
Weird one, but if I've got spotify playing in the background whilst playing mobile, clicking on the bank or other random places will crash spotify entirely. Then switching tabs to fix it logs me out - very annoying
This is happening due to lack of ram
Same applies to the other people with issues switching app, in most cases it is ram constraints or aggressive os power management
What phone do you have? This is usually due to lack of ram
I suspected something like this might be the case, but it never hurts to report something like that in case it's on the other end. Since you're considerably more tech-savvy than I, how might I rectify the situation other than dropping several hundred dollars I don't have on a new device?
Afraid there's not much you can do other than see if there is a system/os update available
It looks like Lenovo released an android 8.0 update for it, so if you haven't installed that update yet it may help
Fantastic detailed review, looks like all of your graphics issues stem from an issue with texture uploads on your particular device, as the textures are coming out effectively blank/white everywhere but the UI
If I've got the correct Lenovo Tab 4 (the one without 'Plus' in the name), it looks like the GPU is an Adreno 306, which is unfortunately quite a bit below what we support. For example the GPUs in flagship phones from the past ~3 years are 10-30x faster

You can't Access the Travelling Merchant Shop when there's a lot of people on the same spot, chances are your app will close itself and you may lose your chance to buy the daily items.
You can't skill in heavy populated worlds (w84 ot w2) because the app will close itself.
These are likely due to running out of ram, what device do you have?
Got any other possible solutions?
Probably something else along those lines, it sounds like it is prioritising the focused game because in 99% of cases it is desirable for a game to be prioritised above the rest of the system. Could be something in the driver or OS, but I don't know of any other particular setting that would do it
Any software difference? Specifically things like overlays, capture software, audio enhancements, antivirus
Is the hardware known to be stable in other games/benchmarks?
/u/darkimmortal As you’re one of the nxt devs, can you help me? You’ve already solved it once for win7, now I need a solution for win10
Try disabling windows 10 game mode
So this is a confirmation that mouse support will come to rs3 mobile? Is there an eta on that? I just dropped a bit on an otg adapter and if its too far off i'll just return it
Yes, some degree of mouse support is available in the next update, which should hit the Play store in the near future
Edit: Now available :)
Having the same issue since I woke up this morning, runescape-launcher apparently updates itself and does not use the package manager giving Jagex the power to break installation on systems which are not running the latest version of your Linux distribution without informing you or giving you any time to prepare, whenever they feel an update is in order. libssl1.1 is available in Ubuntu 18.04 and derivatives, not available in Ubuntu 16.04 and derivatives. I can't find a backport. So, in the middle of DOUBLE XP WEEK, you wake up one morning and can no longer play Runescape until you reimage. Unless someone can find a backport of libssl1.1 for Ubuntu Xenial derivatives, you're stuck until you can find the time to do a full system upgrade and every big software package you run has complete support for 18.04.
Ubuntu 18.04 is the new minimum requirement as of the big Linux update: https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/news-post-linux-client-improvements It was coincidentally working on your 16.04 system for a couple of weeks due to library update we forgot to apply. This was at the expense of many newer systems - it is a balancing act, and to help ensure forward compatibility we must favour newer libraries
If you can't update to 18.04, you may be able to build from source, or possibly even install the libssl1.1 package from Debian 9. Anything like this is at your own...
Read moresyslog output is
error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.1
if that helps resolve this issue.. would rather not have to sit and reinstall windows for the next 12 hours just to play today's update
You'll need to perform an apt update/upgrade, the launcher has been updated and now requires libssl1.1. What distro+version are you on?
okay hmm thats kinda annoying... I'd love to play mobile on it... the PC client didn't work very well as the whole windows system was slow.
it flashes up for a split second and closes immediately...
Try again when the next NXT update ships (you'll need to update from Play store), hopefully next week, there were some fixes that might help your hardware
Edit: Though I would be surprised if performance was any better than Windows
Thanks for the information.
Well the x86 version i have installed has a built in option to enable native bridge. After i turned this on OSRS and all the other apps started to run just fine... i haven't figured out how to install libhoudini. For some reason it won't let me copy it to the dedicated folder... Would libhoudini change anything and if so do you have any advice how to get it working?
No it is not something you should have to think about, it is part of the OS and is what allows the ARM OSRS client to run. There is a x86 build of RS3 so it is unnecessary there. What exactly happens when you try to run RS3?
We do release builds for Android x86 and x64, so if it's not working, it's not for lack of x86 support
(Incidentally OSRS doesn't, so it is quite a testament to libhoudini that OSRS is working)
