Glad he is gone. Never liked him.
So say we all.

They are not dogs, they are War Beasts. You would know that if you asked them.
Second time I laughed at this thread. The first was the headline.
Good to hear from you Deej, I thought Cozmo and dmg kidnapped you at some point
They did better than kidnap me. They reinvented the job and show me how it’s done.
Can you teach 'em how to make it heroic? :)
Heroism cannot be taught. Only earned...
That's fair enough, apologies.
No apologies needed at all! This is a fair piece of feedback that I see from time to time. Every E3, someone reaches out to express frustration that we are saying the same things in all of our interviews. The reality is that we talk to different outlets to make sure the same message reaches as many people as possible. Life would be a lot easier if we could just say something once, but we strive to be inclusive with our invitations to join the community. When you see us being repetitive, imagine that we’re trying to send the next public event ally (or crucible victim) your way.
I know. He's genuinely good at his job. I don't dislike him at all. I'm just saying that it's frustrating to read stuff from DeeJ because you spend half an hour reading and come out not having really learnt anything.
I'm sorry that was frustrating. That certainly wasn't the goal. This was a conversation with someone who wanted to write about how we include our community in the development process. You're not likely to learn anything new about that, because you live it with us. The intended audience for this article was people outside of our community who wanted to learn about what we do on a more philosophical level. The TWAB is written for you. This was written for curious onlookers who observe from afar.
Glad you like it here! Nice to see you met a cool guardian.
This is why we do it.
Oooo, a Reznor fan. The more you know!
I really hate to name drop - and I almost never do it - but he was my favorite studio tour I ever gave.
As a fan of David Fincher and Trent Reznor, I see what you did there. Did you share this on Twitter?
As a member of our community team, these are my favorite stories. Yes, I picked the wrong moment to share my own once, but I'm glad yours was well received. Timing is everything, eh? As a member of the Bungie community since 2004, I have formed bonds that have become some of the longest-running friendships in my life - people I still play with to this day, when I find the time. When I came to Bungie, my hope was to pay that forward. Imagine my fear that Destiny would not duplicate the social phenomenon of our previous titles. In the end, the Destiny community has outdone all of my wildest dreams. Thank you for being excellent to each other.
Could we get some clarification about what's going to happen for PC players from 09/17 to 10/01? The battlenet listing for Destiny 2 says that on 09/17 support for D2 will cease and players will have to migrate to the new platform in order to continue playing.
Does this mean that PC players will be unable to access Destiny 2 during these 2 weeks? Or will PC accounts be able to access Steam's version of Destiny 2 sooner than new purchases?
Also, I'm going to have my PC finished before cross save is available, if I purchase D2:Forsaken with my battle net account, would I be able to transfer that license to my "cross save" account?
Clarification here would be greatly appreciated.
I will look into this and confirm: My understanding is that no one can play Destiny on Steam until Oct 1. You'll be able to keep playing until then on Battle.net. I'll look into the details on what purchase available will be for PC between Sept 17 and Oct 1. Don't @ me.
PS4 account - Has Forsaken
Battle.net account - Has Forsaken
If I migrate my PS4 account to PC and then move to Steam will I still have Forsaken? Or do I need to buy it again?
Game licenses will remain platform specific. You do not bring games you bought for specific platforms with you. In your case, you bought it twice (thanks) so you can play it in both places. Of course, New Light will simplify this for a lot of players who want to move from platform to platform to Crucible and chill.
So does Cross Save work with Battle.Net until the move to Steam in October?
This is my understanding on the matter. Yes. On August 21, Cross Save will support Xbox, PlayStation, and PC via Battle.net. Steam and Stadia enter the mix later.
What Deej said: "...future evolutions of the Crucible,".
What the community heard: "Crucible going forward is not going to be the Crucible you know today," or "we're removing Crucible but I can't actually say that so I'm going to mince words,".
What Deej likely meant: The Crucible is going to grow from where it is currently. Implying that the essence of the Crucible, being pure PvP, will remain; but there will be changes.
Let us hope that it's positive growth.
Sorry this was confusing. It was a live fire exercise. This is why I like to write sh*t down and let a dozen people look at it before we F5. Anyway, what I really meant to say was that the Crucible is going to grow from where it is currently. The essence of the Crucible, being pure PvP, will remain; but there will be changes. Rpaulv, keep an eye on our careers page.
Don't try this at home.
As someone born in Iran who works at Bungie I wanted to let you know that many of us were touched by your kind words. Eyes up guardian!
Can confirm. This is my production partner and good friend.
Hey there. Sorry if I made you mad. Certainly not my intention. Not my best answer from what was a long day of questions.

Like I said, I’ll pass along your desire for Year One armor to our character artists. That’s how I behave with a clearer head.
Reddit, that was a personal note from me about a nice moment I had with a long-lived friend of mine, not an official statement about Bungie's attitude about the endgame. I've always been a community guy. That's why I play games. Anyone who knows me knows I'm not an elite Raider or a 1%er in the Crucible. Games are another social outlet for me - a collaborative, tactical roleplay for an old improvisational actor who has always loved action movies. Destiny is a social game, and we have a lot of new players in our community who have never joined a Clan or opened their experience to another human voice. My personal story was as a positive example to inspire them to take a chance on us. If you seek more reasons to play, I'll see you in Iron Banner next week. If Crucible isn't your thing, good luck in the Prestige Raid. I'll sit that out. When the designers tell me they don't expect everyone to complete that, I know what they mean. Peace.
Yo /u/Deej_BNG can you please pass along my, and I'm sure most people's, thanks to the team for providing the info needed by the DIM team to have this up and running so quickly.
It's the little things like this that are often overlooked by companies and make a huge difference to players. Thanks a ton! <3
Wait, who runs DIM? What is that?
Thanks for the shoot! I saved a couple for my personal collection of memories.
