I can see the ‘Crosshair Kill Confirmation’ mod is causing problems - please disable it.

It looks like your installation could be corrupted and resulting in these errors - could you please try the Verify Integrity of Game Files option using the instructions below, and see if the issue persists:

1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button. This may take several minutes
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal

Try restarting the Steam client a couple of times, let me know if it persists.

I can see the ‘Crosshair Kill Confirmation’ is causing problems in your second log, but that wouldn’t explain your PC losing responsiveness!

There could be something else at play - overheating, etc. I’d recommend having a look at: [PC] How to Resolve PC Crashes, Loss of Responsiveness or Blue Screens (BSOD) – Fatshark

I hear you, it really is a dampener to have your time wasted like that. It will be patched, but I have to be completely honest with you in that we won’t be able to issue compensation, due to a number of limitations.

To be on the safe side, it may be worth waiting until our next substantial patch, to avoid any more disappointments.

Please disable the ‘Numeric UI’ mod, and see what happens. I believe this is a mod-related issue.

Edit: There appears to be some GPU instability too, but see how it runs without the mod to begin with.
