So, this was a last second change that we decided on.

"In order to complete the 19th and 20th phases, apart from finishing all the event's Directives, you'll need to purchase any two shipbuilding phases by spending doubloons. It doesn't matter when you purchase these two phases: at the end of the building process or at any other time."

This means if you buy ANY 2 Build levels at all, so example (12 and 14 cause I just picked random numbers) then the directives will get you to build level 20 and you will get the ship without purchasing more.

FURTHERMORE, if you buy the "Early Start" bundle on day one, this too will accomplish the requirement of having to buy ANY two build levels and the directives WILL carry you to completion of Odin.

Apologies for the confusion as I was not made aware of this specific change until, well, right now.

I am getting clarification right now.

Again, this is on the PTS.

The first PTS of the DY you did have to buy the last two, or at least thats what happened to me.

Either way, you are talking about TESTING vs LIVE.

And in this announcement: https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/17 that went live at the beginning of MAY it clearly states: "Levels 19 and 20 are reachable only by spending Doubloons."

And we have been saying this over and over. So NO the rules have not changed.

PTS is almost ALWAYS different than the live server, we have said this too. Things are made purposefully easier so that you can get through the content VERY fast.

The rules have not changed, from day one of our announcement we have discussed that you are playing through the directives for a DISCOUNT and Build level 19 and 20 HAD to be purchased.

On the PTS you were testing the DY itself, so if you just out right bought it with doubloons you were skipping that part. If you played through the DY you would have seen that Build level 19 and 20 were only available to be cleared by purchasing.

Buying the booster, DOES NOT complete the directives all it does is complete build levels.

You STILL have to get through the directives. To get the steel.

The steel is the reward you get for completing those directives IF you buy Odin out right.

In other words, if you purchase early, what you're purchasing are ALL the rewards and ship. Since you have those rewards and the ship, what you get for working through the directives is STEEL.

Guys, you're over complicating this.

If you get ODIN on DAY ONE and play through the directives you will have the opportunity to get steel. (It doesn't matter HOW you purchase her).

You DO NOT, automatically get the Steel. The Steel comes from DIRECTIVE COMPLETIONS not Build levels or doubloons you spend.

You will only get Steel if you get Odin EARLY, and still grind through the directives, so you still have to clear the directives in order to get the steel, it is not automatic.

I wasn't talking about the discount bundle at the beginning, so yes, however, I will not be surprised if people "don't know" about the discount bundle when it comes up essentially.

But again every build level is 1750 doubloons.

TBH however, IMO he is better on Hindenberg, but that's just me. Or better yet on Mainz.

If you purchase the Odin early (before you get through the Directives) the rewards as you progress the Directives will reward you steel.

Every single build level is 1750 doubloons, if someone wants to just skip the directives and purchase her, yes, they will be able to on day one.

However, you can play through the directives across the 8 weeks that the DY is available and purchase her anywhere from day one 35,000 doubloons down to 3500 doubloons.
