Hello @ConanChick, we’ve had to issue a rollback to the most afflicted servers, which is a measure reserved for only the most extreme cases as many players lost weeks and even months worth of progress due to the hacker’s intervention.

We’ll be issuing an official statement as soon as possible, please understand that this is not a decision that has been taken lightly.

Hello @Liptaa, there were some rollbacks issued on the servers that were hit by the hacker, which is something we would only ever consider for the most extreme cases.

The few servers that seem to have gotten wiped had issues with their rollback and were set to a default state, however, this is not intended and we’re working together with G-Portal to restore these.

Please understand that we do actively monitor the forums, even if we do not reply at all times, as many concerns have usually been addressed in other posts.

Making no build areas out of POIs or the Shattered Springs wouldn’t prevent those areas to be closed by walling them off, and it would have dire repercussions on private servers and single player sessions in which players have used those areas as part of their builds.

Since official servers aren’t actively moderated, private servers usually enforce specific rule sets regarding building and raiding that provide a less ruthless experience with little to no griefing.

When did these issues come up? Do you recall any steps taken prior to that?

Have you tried to let your character die and respawn?

It seems that your character has died due to temperature effects, it’s recommended that you check if your character is experiencing any of these before logging out and to avoid sleeping near heat sources, as well as depositing all your inventory in a chest, which should help prevent any possible loss of items should something happen to your character while you’re offline.
