This might be mod related since we’ve not received any report about this issue on vanilla/official servers.
Could you list the mods you’ve got enabled in that server to see if other players with this issue have the same mods installed?

Could you help us find the root of this issue by providing a few extra pieces of information?
Were those benches nearby your base, or linked to it? Were they standing on the ground as is? Did all the benches get affected or just a few?
