This could be caused by a myriad of reasons. Since it seems it’s been recent, rather sudden and affecting more than one player our guess is that there was some recent construction or piece that is causing this, maybe a mod-related one.

Make sure the following line is correctly added in ServerSettings.ini:

VocalVisibilityDurationInMinutes=0

That would explain the issue. Indeed, any thralls or pets placed before the Mounts update will not benefit from the leveling system. Any followers placed after the patch will.

Should you suspect of foul play, contact us privately (either me or @Hugo) with any information you might have, as exploit discussion or accusing other players/clans is not allowed as per our community guidelines.

This seems to be a known but elusive issue brought with the building optimizations update. It is usually solved once the server restarts.

Your character is still present in the most current database. As @q9c9p suggests, there might be some sort of issue with your Steam account authentication. Make sure you’re accessing from the account you created that character based on your family sharing settings.

It will be fixed with the next patch. No ETA on its release as of yet but we’ll let you all know once we have anything else to share.
Since the original issue has been acknowledged and fixed internally we’ll proceed to close the thread. Please keep an eye out for further announcements on patch releases.

We’re aware of this issue as it’s been numerously reported since the Mounts update came out. Our team has been working on a fix and it will be released within the next couple of patches.
