You should be able to craft it, once you have the carpenter’s bench unlocked, by doing the following:
That should do it. Once you’re crafting it, you can leave the bench until it’s done (it can take a while)
Hey @Umbrella
Welcome to our community.
Shaped wood is a recipe from the carpenter’s bench. You have to select it, and if you placed enough wood inside the bench, it should let you craft as many pieces as you can afford or want.
Hope that solved your question
It is completely disabled from the code, so it shouldn’t be able to be re-enabled in any way that doesn’t require a rewrite of the code.
We’re going to remove references to it from the interface in upcoming patches, and adding into the UI any missing new settings from the new system.
Hey there,
We’re aware of this issue and it’s up in our Trello board for prioritization:
Thanks for your feedback
Our team has issued a fix that is undergoing a few rounds of QA to see if it finally gets rid of this issue. Once it passes those tests it should be released as soon as the certification process allows it
Hey there @CrystalGoddess
We’re aware of this issue. It’s not exactly what you proposed on the title, but instead it’s placeables in general have a tendency to not block the respawn of flora and fauna.
Our team is aware of it and they’re looking into that.
Thanks for your feedback
Hey there,
Indeed, this is a known issue that has been fixed internally. It should be released soon.
Hey @CrystalGoddess
Thanks for the input, sending it to our team so they can look into it
Hey @Darkbeard
That could possibly the case, although you mention this is happening in a private server and there could be mods installed that could cause this crash.
Thanks for your feedback and welcome to our community.
Hey there @TheCyberchill
Thanks for the clarification. Our team is looking into this issue.
Hey there @ThatDamnedBear
Welcome to our community.
We’ve gotten a similar report like this one recently. Just to make sure, and you’ve probably tried it already: can you connect to the server via the Steam friends list or via Direct Connect?
It would be ServerSettings.ini, but it is still a feature being worked at this moment and should be used at your own risk. It will be ready once we announce the final results of the poll in this thread:
Hey @Jim1
Thanks for bringing this up to our attention. We will send it to our team so they can look into it.
Hey @Atypik
Welcome to our community.
Does directly connecting to a server or through the Steam friends list work for you?
Hey @Kwalya
Thanks for the feedback. We’ll send it to QA and see if they can reproduce similar cases of this happening.
Hey there,
We’ve received a few reports in the past about this and our team is looking into what could be the cause for it.
Thanks for the heads-up, we’ll send it to our team.
Hey there @Ricky-Spanish
Welcome to our community.
We tried to reproduce this issue but we could not despite many tries. Are you using any mods in your game?
Glad to hear your problem is solved. See you on the Exiled lands
Hey there,
Pets and thralls should not die of starvation. Once their hunger meter reaches 0, they take no damage. Some remnants of the old hunger system still remain and might give a wrong impression of starvation affecting them.
If they disappear it’s quite possibly due to other circumstances. Check the event log and see if any NPC killed them, or as @Kwalya suggests, check if they have returned home (that is, their latest guard point).
Thanks for your feedback.
