Our team is aware of this issue (purge bar not depleting, possibly triggering THE PURGENING like in your case…) and they’re looking into it.

As stated a few times above, the workaround is not ideal and our team is looking into the performance issues. We’re not “keeping quiet” nor “hoping people will move on”.

If you experience a crash and you get the “blue screen”, you will be sent to a form that lets you send the crash report to the developers. If that is cancelled and not sent at that moment, it will be lost and we cannot receive it.

Welcome to our community.
That’s an unrelated problem to any performance issues. We’re aware of an issue when upgrading a temple that could cause it to disappear in the process. The mesh of that placeable sometimes shifts its position slightly, so if there is any part of the geometry or other pieces nearby that would get in contact with the altar, it disappears before completing the upgrade. Make sure to build them in a space that has plenty of room around so it doesn’t collide with anything.

Hey there,

It seems there was an outage with some Steam services that affected connectivity. All servers should be running normally now.
Regarding server outages, G-Portal are the ones handling that aspect so in case of this event arises please make sure to get in contact with them either with the server report tool or via Twitter/Facebook, specially during weekends where none of our staff is at the office.

Thanks for the additional info. It might be related to a similar issue regarding the purge affecting PC, in which the game gets stuck trying to spawn a purge and getting stuck in a loop until server restart. In that case it didn’t involve a crash, but the event log was flooded with messages.
We’ll send this additional information to our team and see if that helps us get closer to the source of this issue.

We brought it up with our team and they were wondering a few extra things, as this seems to be an isolated issue so far:

  • Which is your ISP?
  • Wired connection or wi-fi?

It could maybe have been a lag issue. We’re going to send note to our team regardless and see if they can find out what could have been the cause.

We’re aware of this issue but we have not been able to reproduce it internally in a consistent way. Could you let us know the coordinates of where this is happening to you so we can send it to QA?
On the meanwhile, as a temporary workaround, some players suggested to drop all your belongings on a chest when logging out.
