I sent you a PM.
People don't realize that the way the alibi (probably) works, they would need to make a new model for the hologram for each and every possible combination of cosmetics alibi can equip, and somehow then figure out what combination each player is using to load that specific model. This would take way too much time to implement.
Whereas Iana is literally just "player model"
This is exactly it for Alibi. We would have to end up spending all of our dev find updating all possible combinations each time we release a new bdu, headgear, weapon skin.
I have not gotten anything. Do i have to do something for it to get sent to my e-mail adress or am i just one of the unlucky ones
They are sent to a select group, somewhat randomly. The only way to be eligible for selection is to opt in to receiving emails from Ubisoft.
Damn as soon as I go out of town
If you log in before Jan 5th, you will still be able to get it. Enjoy your holidays!
Will there be another chance to get Monty new skin? I didn't get it because I don't have all operators but I really want that skin :(
The skin can only be acquired through the packs as a special gift for players that have unlocked all Operators.
I wonder what happens if you have 1 op left to unlock, get the pack, unlock the op, then open the pack.
A QA somewhere inside ubisoft might be sweating
You would then be put in the "overflow" pipeline, and be forced to redeem the pack for the Montagne skins.
NICE TRY KEREN.
My friend didn't get the packs. Is there a bug?
Send me the account name in a private message so we can check it out on the back end.
Thank you!
You‘re right of course but having this change 2 months before the invitational makes me kinda scared. If they don‘t deliver there it could mean that this game isn‘t supposed to last past the first year of next gen consoles. Another Siege game would be cool for sure but good sequels are always hard to pull off and I don’t really believe they could pull off another game as great and addictive as Siege.
We don't have any plans for Siege 2 and it isn't in development. We are sticking with Siege for a while. :)
The game had to start dying down at some point. It just doesn't fit in with Ubisoft's business model of yearly sequels. I'm surprised Siege lasted this long to be honest. Expect the content to be reduced in frequency as the game steadily reaches it's end point. We already kind of see that already with no new maps and recycled weapons. Also, not too long ago they were talking about preparing for the future of Siege when there would be less seasons in a year so there's that.
That isn't really what is happening. I understand that it may appear as if the game is winding down, but that is pretty far from the case.
We are actually in the process of growing the team. We have a few people, Xavier and Alex among them, that have been working on Rainbow Six Siege for almost a decade. They no longer feel as if their direct involvement is necessary for the game to continue to grow, and are going to step away from it to let new people take the lead.
The people stepping up have been a part of the Rainbow Six Siege team for a while now, and have an exciting vision for where to take the game. Leroy mentioned briefly that he wants to focus on creating features and content that impact all players, and that is the direction we are headed.
Nomada Studio consists of ex-Ubisoft employees, so i guess there's that.
Correct. Many of them used to work on Rainbow Six Siege before going to Nomada, and remain good friends. :)
And the hole in the logic, maybe to connect with your community and prepare for the impending memes?
Huh?
Pardon me while I jump on this top comment to say:
Operation ⇧~
This is the content I browse the subreddit for.
Read moreWe currently host 3 matches per server. When a server crashes, or when a DDoS/DoS attack occurs, this results in 3 matches being impacted and taken offline.
This explains a lot. Where it before appeared like ddosing was in super low ranks as well, it was likely just effect from a high rank game on the same server.
Also times where I'm in a 5 stack and know none of my teammates ddosed, yet we're on defense so it's working in our favor and looks as if it's us doing it.. also just effect from a different game on the same server.
We have identified the worst offenders perpetuating these DDoS/DoS attacks, and will be initiating a ban wave. This will apply to both PC and Console players.
Can we get some more detail on this? For example if someone was just paying a 3rd party site to do it, do they get off scott free or were they identified as well? By the wording I'm afraid only people doing it themselv...
The bans are targeting the people that are directly benefiting from excessive use of DDoS attacks.
damn, no wonder it had to be delayed, this is the highest tier in game breaking bugs sadly.
It made an interesting release though, as PC are getting the update the last ones this time, because usually consoles get it a day later, but this time it's all together.
Seasons are always deployed together.
What did the issue entail, if you don’t mind us asking?
It was a recurring CTD.
Was there a major glitch which they had to fix? It's quite unusual to see Ubi release updates not in the expected schedule, however I'm happy to see that tomorrow is the time
There was an issue that we worked on through the weekend. We found a fix late last night, and needed to test it this morning. The fix works, so we deploy tomorrow! HYPE!

I have no idea if this works. /u/LordKeren please help me.
